Follow the master! As an introduction to the song L. Cohen said "The Sisters Of Mercy were actually two young women that I met during a snow storm in Edmonton, Alberta. They were young hitchhiking women and they came to my Hotel Room and there was something oh, very agreeable about their company. And they had no place to stay and they fell asleep on my big double bed, and I stayed up and I remember there was a full moon. I sat in a stuffed chair inside the window beside the Saskatchewan River and I felt like having something to say to them when they woke up. That was one of those rare and graceful occasions when I was able to write a song from beginning to end in the space of a few hours. And while they slept I worked on this song. And when they woke up I sang it to them. It was completely full and finished, and they liked it. Barbara and Lorraine were their names." Pedro foi tão suave ouvir-te cantar, tanto como Cohen observava as raparigas enquanto dormiam. A beleza estava ali. Obrigado.
Well done !!! Love Leonard Cohens poetry and songs and you have done them true justice. You and the guitar are seasoning quite well together !! Thanks for the beautiful music ---the world needs it !!!
I know these songs for 20 years, just from earing him, the nuances, and paying attention to the lyrics, what they mean ... then i jumped for the guitar, and been working on them for years also, alwyays checking for tabs or new tabs on the net, and watching others playing, i also started learning in classic spanish guitar, wich i think cohen also did, so his techique sounds very natural and confortable for me too, it was how i started too. You can find many tabs for his songs in the net. Sorry not answering everytime, iam also always very busy at, work, but im really glad you like
@@LionPW thanks mate, good luck with the work and keep your music coming 😬🤙🏻 we have almost exactly the same taste haha I'm going to steal all your covers 🥴
