There were different things here and there that I just could not get and would irritate the sh*t out of me. I would practice these things forever until I got it. When I finally got it, it was the most exciting thing I could have ever done. Use all the criticism as a reason to keep pushing. In 7th grade, people gave me crap ALL the time. It infuriated me but I kept my cool and kept pushing. 3 years later, I was the drumline section leader and was attending all state marching band on the snare line. Just think about it, what will shut people up faster? Quitting or becoming one of the best drummers they've ever seen. Keep up the work man, I see a lot of potential in you.
