      @@tommycartmill878 yes definitely think its not fixable might go Belfast get one when I'm home from holiday. I'll spend all day there trying on the backpacks if I have to just to get the right one.

    Brilliant mate, very calm night and good nights sleep. No point in hogging the whole way up Commedagh if your not feeling it and like you say you’ve made the right choice. Going by the last shots the bag doesn’t seem to be tight enough to the back, maybe the straps are away in it. Keep it up 👍

      @@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors yes definitely made a good choice camping in the forest. It was relaxing and probably the best place on that night yes I think the straps are fucked lol. I'll have another look at them when I'm home from holidays hopefully fixable 👍

    Another great video, Adrian. Good to see you're human like the rest of us. Some days, it's a struggle, but it's always worth it to get out there.

      @@rpatterson4274 thank you 👍 yes definitely some days are a struggle. I'm glad I listened to my body and didn't power on up the mountain the forest was relaxing just what I needed.

    That’s a cracking looking spot. Seems the straps are too loose on your pack, the we ones sitting on top of the shoulder straps. The packs leaning away from you. Hopefully they’re not worn out and save yourself a few pound not needing a new pack.

      @@thomasshafe I've the straps as tight as they can be but I'll look at it again when home from holiday. Might need a new backpack if can't sort it which don't want to buy as this one isn't that old and wasn't cheap.

    Nice one Adrian. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right. Looks like you made a good choice to set up lower down. Sometimes things just don't click and it even starts before you leave the house. Looks like your shoulder straps aren't tightening. Thats a frustration. Sounds like you might have a bug too lad. Look after yourself.

      @@walkwatchers definitely made the best decision to camp down in the forest. Yes definitely think I had some form of bug or something. Maybe my body needs rest. Thank you for watching 🙂

    We all get days like that. Try your pack with top shoulder straps tighter. Ideally they should be pulled right into your traps. Looked very loose n that’ll put the pressure on your hips that you’ve been feeling. Particularly noticeable when you’re almost at car. Hope this helps n I don’t sound like a knob lol

    • @HikingandcampingwithAdrian
      @HikingandcampingwithAdrian  2 месяца назад +1

      @@robertmccrea1957 the straps are fully pulled back so I'm not sure how this has happened. Maybe I'll try fix it again somehow when home from holiday. But think maybe need a new backpack 😞

    look at the osprey atmos 65 backpack . I can’t fault mine ( can carry 15kg easily with it ) and feels good on the back , fully adjustable . Bit pricey but when you’re carrying it the cost is worth it.

      @@adventurousdavee At this point I'd pay any price for the right backpack. If it's a perfect bag and helps the price doesn't matter. 🙂
