Ya haven't much luck with Eagle Mountain Adrian. Love the comment about the tent either getting the bin or burning down. Love it Always good to keep the humour 😂😂
I have had a few sketchy canps as well , one up hares gap we had to bail from after 4 hours straight rain ( didn’t record that one ) and the lamagan one I wanted to get down from there all night lol . I put it down to experience and learn from it .Makes you feel how vulnerable we are up there . Glad you made it back safe m8 👍 The tent choice either makes you or breaks you . Next time I’m forgetting the drone and bringing the Vern 1 . At least i feel safe in that .
@@adventurousdavee I've had a few camps I had to abandon if you feel you need to then it's definitely the right choice. Ah the drone hasn't come out of my bag the last few times I've been out might not bother with it for the next few weeks or so. Not the weather for it this time of year.
Fair play for sticking it out Adrian you did well. It's a tricky mountain to find a good spot to pitch on at the best of times let alone in the dark. How's Tommy's tent sticking the pace, they are both the same?
@@ExploreAboveAndBelow sometimes having a shit camp makes you appreciate the good camp more. Definitely is a hard place to pitch up Tommy's tent is holding up fine he's definitely having better luck than I am with the tent 😂
@@HikingandcampingwithAdrian I think that'll be a great tent with a porch area for the winter. They are heavy but I love my OEX Jackel 2 which is pretty much the same as a Hyena. Good choice
Definitely not a failed camp mate. Yous are out doing what you love doing with smiles on the faces, that’s hard to beat. You’ve got a new tent now so onwards and upwards. Ps what views on the summit of eagle you got 👍
@@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors Yeah definitely wasn't a failed camp. We stuck it out and got on with it. Sometimes camp don't go to plan but that's all part of the experience 👌
Really cool camping my friend ❤️❤️🥰🥰😍😍💚
@@AnupAdventures Thank you 🙂
Whether soaring through the skies or making a statement on the ground, the eagle never fails to impress
Fair play sticking it out. Great night shots.
@@thomasshafe Thank you 👍
Ah had to stick it out I wasn't having another failed camp on Eagle 🤣
Those lightweight OEX tents are not good for harsher conditions. Better off spending more and buying less. Good video Adrian 👍
Great video in harsh conditions! Good effort mate well done.
@@Roam.Outdoors Thank you 👍
You done well sticking it out mate .
Great video as usual

@@alanlyness8413 No I've very little luck with Eagle mountain 😂 oh yes have to keep the humor at times like that 😂
I actually clicked on the video 'cos I thought the tent looked cool in the thumbnail! 😂

@ It’s one of those things , you miss the epic drone shot opportunity when you don’t bring it and when you do it’s either too windy or clagged out lol

@@maxinebriggs8102 3rd time won't be until summer 🤣 not for this mountain anyway.
@HikingandcampingwithAdrian awww never say never 😉
Yep, deffo one for the summer, I thought the same. Looking forward to seeing what tent you end up getting 😁
@@ssuk1985 Yes definitely only a summer place for a camp even then it would be difficult to pitch up a tent.
I got a new tent today OEX HYENA 11
