Dude you are the man. I’m a 5 year Hvac tech, installer and maintenance guy. Your videos are hands down the best I’ve ever scene. I do a lot of troubleshooting service work and have learned quite a bit from you. Outstanding work.
Good video. I have never seen one of those.35 years ago we use to use a sail switch to detect when the blower was on .Now all your circuit boards have that built in for your cleaners and humidifiers.Enjoy your videos 😜
What about when you have a variable speed ECM lower motor? I see in your video it looks like you're using APS c and you are putting the common wire through the sensing relay. For the ECI motor can you simply put one of the hot wires through the sensing relay? I mean it should draw amps and close the sensing relay correct?
Based on the troubleshooting example you showed (when not powered by 24v) I assume this unit actually consumes 24v in order to function and operate the relay, and doesn't simply operate through induction. I had hoped to use it without 24v to simply close a circuit (battery powered alarm module) but that does not appear to be feasible. Do you agree?

So good. Thanks for your good work. If ever you could show a wiring diagram for this type of sensor, you would make my day.
Well done Craig. Thanks again. 👍👍
Very welcome. Thank you for the support
I didn’t know they were used in HVAC. Thx.
Really well explained, thanks a lot teacher, I wish you the best, and family as well
Glad to help Luis!

Run in to quite a few of these. Good video.
Thank you for watching!
Can you pls make a video about reversing valve how they work and troubleshoot them
Always learning something ..🌡🌨⛈🌤❄🔥
Thank you for supporting!!
That's a "Load" of good info 😁👍
Very! Thank you for watching!!
thank you, partner, for sharing! excellent video!.

I have a question regarding testing the 24 v sensor - does it matter whether the 24 V transformer generates AC or DC?
Based on the troubleshooting example you showed (when not powered by 24v) I assume this unit actually consumes 24v in order to function and operate the relay, and doesn't simply operate through induction. I had hoped to use it without 24v to simply close a circuit (battery powered alarm module) but that does not appear to be feasible. Do you agree?
Great Video. What is mean Selenoid in HVAC ? Thank you for sharing ^_^
Ooover?
