Good to see you again! I've learned ollie and kickflip with your video(the one with 11 years ago) And now i'm learning crooked grind with you again. Thank you!
No way! I just learned this earlier today. I've always avoided it because everyone says it's harder than backside. But I'm so glad I finally gave it a go. I ended up doing the same thing where the middle of my truck would hit the ledge and then I would drop and settle in to the pinch. Thanks for the video.
It’s frontside because you are facing the obstacle ON THE ROLL-UP. Frontside/Backside have nothing to do with the grind itself, comes from where you face before the trick. Example, backside tail slides are backside because the ledges/curb/whatever is behind you before you start the trick NOT because of where you face during the trick. Comes from ramp skating originally, all tricks are named FS/BS because of this EXCEPT fakie tail/lips for some reason (which are names the way you think of fs//bs but they are the exception).
The way it actually works makes a lot more sense than the way you're thinking about it. It's about the approach to the obstacle. If it's in front of you it's frontside, if it's behind you it's backside
Woww a new trick tip. I still go back to your Kickflip tutorial from RIDE channel when I forget my Kickflip. Thumbs up from me. 👍😎👍

What park is this?
what am I doing wrong if I pinch fs croocked, my body keeps pushing foward but my skate stalls and I end out of the skate?
Rule 1- don't be old. Rule 2- #fingerboard
I never understood how frontside isn’t back side cuz your body is facing backwards. Some high skater named frontside frontside and not backside
It is because he is facing the obstacle front side. If the obstacle is behind you it is back side, like snowboarding.
@@Chris-bw9bq nah makes 0 since when your ass is facing the way your sliding how is that facing forwards
