    I remember those days. Limbing spruce with a 044 Magnum. I put a 10 tooth sprocket on it and swung it around like an axe. Those days are are long gone for these old bones. Lol. Nice video.

    Love where your logging! I posted a video of my older tree farmer logging on my first daynin the woods on a skidder, im very happy with the machine. I am hopeful with in a couple months to have some hitches maybe half the size of yours ;-)

    My dad was from st aruie Quebec was a logger for years I repair equipment now love logging equipment.

    hey im 20 years old from estonia and i actually am starting my own logging operation too with just a chainsaw and a old 1960s belarus mtz 50 and a log grapple its 2wd but with the grapple front wheels are up anyways so no diffrence really i just love hand cutting and i want to keep this as a hobbyjob so its a hobby i work with ok weather and when i want not need and just over all love the job and i just like working alone in the woods

    Way up in vermont i once had to rescue on of thease pinned under tree on power lines with he couldent push it back and tree started going towards the line the one and only look ive got at a tree farmer .

    Run the wood with the skidder tires and blade. Drive up the tops and when you get close to the end of the buts drop your blade to an inch aboce and slowly put down and wiggle the tires over the limbs takes majority of it off

    We backed the limbs off, 50 times faster then useing a saw.

    What is that chain for going from the cab to the winch?

      To keep trees from falling in between the machine and messing up winch lines etc...
