The devs don't care about player feedback don't let them fool you. After the first patch, hundreds of posts and thousands of comments on critiques. The only response the devs gave was to the one post that said thank you for your hard work. They only wanted a pat on the back not criticism of any kind. So regardless if they wipe a thousands times or not they don't have the community pr to keep people playing in ea testing for them. Look at Helldivers 2 not an ea game and they still read feedback from the community with the CEO constantly addressing criticism. Progression wipe isn't killing the game it's the devs themselves
If you want to keep any community even in this state, you need to keep xp. Coming back to this game after something like Helldivers 2, and having all your work wiped just makes you want to leave. You can keep grinding over and over if you're into that but it's annoying to grind for the same crappy weapons. Early access is for the devs not the players. We fund them by buying the game when it isn't finished. It shouldn't be hard for them to to give an xp credit. Saying for people to just leave and comeback when it releases, is a good way to kill the game before it even launches.
If you don't understand things change, get erased or reset in development, don't buy early access games. It's literally a game in active development. If it needs testing, and you can't do it, that's literally it, leave and comeback later. Early access is for the game, not for you.

I prefer a full wipe. This is the earliest ea game I've bought and totally expected a complete wipe at some point. Even multiple times
