Were the control arms hitting the skid plate on down travel?

I didn't notice the control arms hitting the skid plates, but the control arms did take a beating from all the rocks. Those control arms hang really low in the back.

What kind of cargo hitch do you have? It looks like it didn’t take damage on the trail.

I purchased a 6 inch hitcher riser. It allowed the basket to be elevated higher to avoid being hit while maximizing the departure angle.
