All you have to do is turn the light to the left and it should come loose

So to unplug the wiring from the fog light you turn the light to the left and the wiring comes out? Should I remove the light from the car housing before removing the wiring?

There should a little tab on the plastic behind the bulb, that's where you can pull off the fog light. Sorry, I thought you wanted to remove the entire fog light mount.

I purchased a 6 inch hitcher riser. It allowed the basket to be elevated higher to avoid being hit while maximizing the departure angle.

I have not. I'll check it out.

I simply attached the 4 bike mount to a swing out arm. The swing out arm I believe I got from Amazon. Kuat I believe was the brand

No issues at all.

I didn't notice the control arms hitting the skid plates, but the control arms did take a beating from all the rocks. Those control arms hang really low in the back.

So what I've learned over the course of taking the Pilot off road is that the biggest issue is the lack of clearance of the rear control arms. Putting spacers to lift will not improve clearance of the control arms. Bigger tires will help with that. But you can do the 2 inch lift and bigger tires for better clearance.

@devins1495 negative. The cv arm came out of place because I was messing with the flywheel ans accidently pulled the cv arm out of place.

It's always good to go based off the owner's manual. I do know it's important to have a similar tire thread of those tires as the other two.

I painted it with PlastiDip. I've actually recently taken it off and left it as it originally did.

Very excited for your family. You will enjoy it. The v6 non hybrid engine was the reason why we also went with the pilot.

Up until now, no issues with overheating. No loss of power or reduced torque power. I'm heading up to Colorado this month for a week on an expedition so I believe that will be the real test.

That'd be fun. There are great spots down there to Overland at.
