Did you know that in Surf's Up

Did you catch this in Surf's Up? There are actually quite a few allusions to both real persons and fictitious characters, aside from the filmmakers and surfers who are participating and the mention of Happy Feet. For instance, Jeff Bridge's character The Dude in The Big Lebowski is referred to in his character The Geek. Big Z is modeled after surfer Greg Noll, a pioneer in the sport in the 1950s and 1960s, while Reggie Belafonte is modeled after Bill Sharp, who is best known for promoting the Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards and making appearances in surfing movies.
