That is certainly a brutal rule that the champions have to give up a player. Dallas was always my favorite team, mostly because JW and Jorga are my favorite doubles team. I've been a JW fan for a long time. You can't really separate the siblings. As great as Augie played, he tended to speed up at inopportune times and an inopportune places. On the other hand, Tyra's third shot drop was floating awfully high in the championship series, costing many points. But her game has improved so much in the last several months it's unbelievable. She gets to everything, and I enjoyed seeing her fluster Anna Lea Waters. I think it would be easier to find a male to replace Augie than a female to replace Tyra, who has quickly risen to being a top five women's player. I hate for the team to lose anyone, including Augie, but I'm afraid he's the one I'd have to let go if it was my choice. I'd be very sad about it though. Great series, and great coverage by sorry not sorry.
Great recap, as always! Love the Close Call ball tracker! Unbelievable! Flash is my favorite team so thrilled they won. ALW and Will bailed even if they were given permission. After all of their antics on the court, it is a bad look. Thought Zane did a wonderful job! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you for saying that about Anna Leigh. I've been defending her on social media, but she's getting so much hate for not staying. That loss was probably devastating for her, especially since they lost both their games they were "supposed to win". I felt bad for her. I didn't fault her for not being there.
While I love Sorry Not Sorry podcasts, I think Dave Fleming and most of all Adan Stone do a great hob of commentating. I think SNS has found the best spot for him in Pickleball. I love his recaps and his humor, but I'm not sure how good a real time commentator he would be.

Each team has to drop a player from their 4 man roster. There will be some great players dropped from other teams too. What’s they need to think about is chemistry. What available player will add to the teams chemistry. The team that is going to hurt the most dropping someone will be the Shock. Their chemistry is what helped propel them. What’s the draft order going to be for choosing your new #4? Winner first or lowest team first?
Awesome show per the usual. We were there and stuck it out to the end. It was hard to find a seat up until the very last match. We were part of Augie’s fan club that slowly stole the energy from the 5’s fans. It was a REAL energy shift. One thing I thought you would catch, was Fahey smacking herself on the head 3 times at 23-18 against Pisnik and Duong during mixed doubles for third place. I saw it live and it was loud and violent. She was probably still stunned hence she loses the next point/game. The commentators miss it. Watch and tell My what you think. Also I’m with you on ALW. Not sticking around. She would have been crying and that’s a bad look. lol
First off your impression of Christain Alshon is so good,reminds me when South Park does Mickey Mouse. Second you kind of missed a spot you could've said the shock look shocked .! other than that awesome as always.

You can't drop the Johnson sibling, it be awkward to drop just one of them. And Tyra Black is one of the best women players...so unfortunately its Ge. This entire tournament was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 From the Semis through the FANTASTIC Finals (though MLP and PPA both need a better 'B team' of announcers, imo. There were some real snooze fest MLPs this year (but those are more interesting than any PPA tournament where you can just about call each division's winner every single time. MLP is just more fun to watch) . If this is what we get at the end the format really is worth it....Hey, how about a WHO DOES EACH TEAM DROP? episode. (I'd hate to be the Flash and make that decision) and I'm sure some teams are going........Can we drop more? 🤣 ...and when is that decision made by the Teams?

For Dallas I think you have to drop Tyra. Obviously it sucks to lose any of them, but no way you drop JW, and jorja with JW is a top 3 mixed team imo. The only tough thing would be finding a girl that could play the left well in mixed.
I agree. Augie picked a great time to play the best he's probably ever played in his life. But there's a reason he was their last pick. He's probably not going to play that good consistently.

I agree on the MLP season. Seems to have dragged on at times (or lost in the shuffle) but the finals weekend was a nail biter and worth the wait. There was someone on all the teams I liked and rooted for but really wanted to see one of the Texas teams win-I like all the players on both teams. Every person on The Flash team are great players AND people- enjoyed the joy on all their faces (especially JDub!) when they won the championship ❤️. I too hope rule changes might include not having to mandatory drop a player. (Silly rule to begin with)…. I couldn’t pick which one to let go that’s for sure!
