Recorded at Wynwood Recording Studio in Falls Church, VA in 1962. Issued as by Earl Taylor & The Stony Mountain Boys on single Rebel F-L 230-45 in 1962. Flip side is “Calling Your Name” Also issued as by Earl Taylor on unnamed album (Rebel R-1473, 1965). Album reissued as part of 4 LP compilation album “70 Song Original Bluegrass Collection” (Rebel R-1473/74/75/76, ca. 1980s). Features Earl Taylor, Jim McCall, Walter Hensley, Scotty Stoneman and Billy Ray Baker. Tune composed by Walter Hensley. Earl Taylor’s bands have also been listed on records as the Stoney Mountain Boys, the Stone Mountain Boys, the Stanley Mountain Boys and the Blue Grass Mountaineers.
