Actually, Dinho and Zidane played against each other a few times, Dinho being a barcelona player and Zidane being a Madrid player, but the biggest match they played against each other was in the world cup 2006 Quarter final, France vs Brazil which saw Brazil eliminated by France. Dinho was the FIFA world player at that time (Zidane won that award 3 times vs Dinho 2 times). Dinho was in his prime in 2006 while Zidane actually retired in 2005 and came out of retirement to help France in the world cup. That was a legendary game which saw a fully loaded Brazilian team (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka who won FIFA world player the following year, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Adriano, Juninho) completely outclassed by one man: Zidane. If you ever get the chance to watch that game, watch it, it's an iconic world cup game. Taking nothing away from Dinho, I love both players but Zidane was on a different level than any other player during his playing time, especially on the biggest stage when it mattered the most. I can type here all day and explain to you why he's a level above Dinho but his trophy case speaks for itself. Zidane is the only player to have ever won every trophy to be won on a club, international and individual level. He's literally won everything.

Zidane and Buffon played many years together at Juventus and they practiced penalty shootouts very often together which meant that Buffon knew exactly how Zidane took his penalties. 13:05 This ........1) to control that ball into kick ups/keep ups...crazy
2)To control that ball dead at the ground and go into a momentum based beating of the defender...fucking incredible (not speed...momentum and throwing intent/deception)
so just those by themselves would be stupid good...wtf am I seeing type shit...both of those in this kind of game, insane.
    Ok..now combine them.....
Surely only an Alien could do this?
    3) He F*cking controls the ball into KIckups, and without the ball touching the ground, he beats the defender by dropping his shoulder and using the defenders momentum against him...all with kickups/keep ups/juggling and completely destroys the defender.
If anyone reading this plays ball ...even if you can do things like that sometimes yourself...at lower levels, you have to admit its just ray at any level let alone bets of the best, against the best defenders in the world...Its genuine jedi sh*t
Like if you can only beat a man with speed, you have an issue as you get older, but if you can beat a defender with momentum, that's a whole other situation...its just, even then...the ball is usually on the ground LMAO...Messi would do it on the ground....maybe the first touch would flick it in front of Himself...I think only Zidane and Maradona, and R10 are doing that kind of thing (no disrespect to Messi ...his way for sure works pretty amazing)
To me this move kind of sums up Zidanes brilliance...and he is 6'2/6'3, how is he able to do that. I myself am 6'2 and play a wish .com version of that kind of style and I have some understanding of how its possible, but he just blows me away every time I see him...he is in a totally unique zone...there is only one Zidane

The two most remembered stages as a player were at Juventus in Turin and at Real Madrid, in which he was part of the team known as "Los Galacticos" in which he played with Ronaldo Nazario, David Beckham, Fernando Hierro, Roberto Carlos among others. His stage as a coach has nothing to envy to that of a player, the command of Real Madrid in the three Champions League in a row and after a year off he is training him again now.

The important thing with Zidane, is that he is a Midfielder. His job wasn't to score but to distribute the ball and actions. Make the game fluid, to make his mate score. When we see the guy playing, it look like a Fifa player, seeing the game from the sky, and knowing the position of all his mates in real time. This is the only player that showed us such skill. And on top of that, he made some of the most wonderfull goals of all time.. Because he just wanted to score. Incredible Footbal time, the game isn't like this anymore.

Zidane is the most incredible footballer i have seen with my eyes a perfect mix of a classic dancer and a football palyer, combining SPORT and ART
I fucking miss him, he's from my town, i saw him growing as a kid in Cannes when he was 16-18 years old ...
    And a very humble man
No other player you can see for he last 50 years can be compared to Zidane
and like you said if you meet this guy in the street you would NEVER imagine this man could be so elegant with a ball.
He was able to create offensive moves more than assists he was the best for pre assists ... like in Hochey if i could compare ...

Ronaldinho brought millions of fans to the game. He was so good, but also the most entertaining soccer player to ever live.
Zidane was elegant, still not as pretty to watch as Ronaldinho, but a more effective #10. Yes, if I was to chose a player for my team between them, I would select Zidane. This is my knock on Ronaldinho as he loves the game so much, that he almost didn't care whether he won or lost. Zidane had the killer instinct. He took his French national team to the world cup 3 times, winning two of them where he destroyed Ronaldinho's Brazil both time. And at least one of those times Brazil had both Ronaldinho and Ronaldo (#9), two top 5 players! However, Zidane ended his career on the worst play of his career. That head butt was in the final of a world cup against Italy. It cost him a red card and France lost against Italy. It was Zidane's last game. It was the worst way to finish a stellar career.

Some call him "the master of elegance" because he made every move look super easy and natural. He was also famous for his ability to orientate his controls of the ball. He was able to receive tricky passes and control the ball quickly to put it in the direction of the game.
