How did you make the sour cream From scratch? I understand about making furthur batches but what about the original starter sour cream...the actual mother?
How did you make your original sour cream…? Our great grandmothers couldn’t just order it from the store… 🤷🏻♀️ I would really appreciate a video on how to make my first batch of sour cream, please?!?🙏💖
Hi there! U take 1 l of milk and u spoil it, to get clabber milk. The milk's fat stays with the milk, do not remove it! It's hot now, so for my milk it took 1 day to turn to clabber. Then u put it in the fridge for a whole day or night. Then, u take it out and u gently peel of the top. It's thick and u can see the clabber beneath it. They are disconnected in the pot. So u take out the fat and that is your first sour cream. Hope that helped.
Hi there! I just made a starter sour cream! U just let the fresh milk spoil or clabber. I used 3 l of fresh milk. I left it in a pot a the next day it was ready! One important thing: do not remove yor cream!. When clabbered, put in a fridge for a day/night. Then, remove from fridge, remove the top fat with a spoon, like rolling a carpet! That is your sour cream starter! U will notice when you try to roll it to collect it, it's easily detached from the clabber. And there u go! Good luck!
