I broke my nose today and had no idea what to do... this video was super helpful!! I went to the ER and the doctor would not see me for a realignment until next week and I was worried I was missing a critical time for reset. Great to hear that I should not get my nose reset until the swelling goes down. That's the same thing they told me. Thank you!!

What happened
I broke my nose about 12 days ago and just got my nose fixed yesterday. It was so much less painful than i thought it would be. I thought the recovery would be horrid. I am all splinted up, now, and can't wait to see what it looks like.

@sadie fleming yes. He had to break it more to put it into place. It was surprisingly not painful at all. The worst part was getting the injection of the anesthetic.

I broke my nose, and a lil bump eventually formed. I'm just grateful that it's not that noticeable, and Lord knows that I can certainly live with it versus having a very expensive and painful surgery for personal perfection.

Did your nose bridge bone moved to the side when you broke your nose? I broke my nose but it didn’t move doctor said it’s still straight but my nose bridge looks bumpy is it just swelling?

@@geo7773x it would've moved slightly but not enough to ruin the functioning of your nose , it should be very minor though , as it has been 7 months can you update me

Exactly what I have, it bent that way after a fight, it grew improperly and I had to get surgery done but didn't realise it back then but now it's pretty obvious my nose is bent to the left and it's uncomfortable because I know it's there
Thank you for this video. I broke my nose 3 weeks ago playing soccer. Displaced fracture. I assumed it was best that I get it reduced right away so 8 hours later they did so just with local anesthesia. Unfortunately, now 3 weeks later I can see it isn’t funny reduced. I’m in Canada and trying to convince doctors to fix it but as the displacement should not cause me any functional issues I’m worried that they may not. Really sucks as I have a beautiful small and straight nose before. Now it has grown a small bump on the dorsal hump and just not quite straight
i have a fracture too and the doctor recommended me not to get a surgery done as the fracture is very minor , there is still some swelling but it looks kinda decent how does yours ??

I broke my nose today, smacked my face onto my brother, it's now bent a little bit, please respond on what too do, so far we put icwy cold veggies on the shape of my nose, held tissue help the blood not leak everywhere. And after slept, I don't feel really bad pain, just a little. If I put a little pressure on it, it will hurt.
My nose is also bent a little.
I also had a paracetamol then slept
I accidentally got hit in the nose, and when I touch a part of it it feels like my nose is asleep almost like an arm, but the second I let go, it feels normal, I have no pain, and nothing feels inordinate, can anyone help me out?

2 days ago (Sunday, November 19) I got brutally hit by one of those palm tree trunks that fall on windy days. I waited a day, thinking the pain will go away. I called to make an appointment with my primary doctor, but they suggested i go to the E.R. They did a CT scan and said I have a nasal contusion. But im not too sure of what that means. They didnt do other exams. They didn’t even look into my nose.
I rip my nasal septum after eating a pig nose gesture. What should I do? It is rip off from my Nasal Septal Catrilege. Will my nose heal on its own? There is a sight collaspe and I place tissue paper into my nostril to position correctly. Will I need surgery? 😢
And if it s been broken like a little year before; is it ok to re break it to fix it??? I ve been harrassed so much. In such bad situations. I just hope i will get MY face back one day. I m in Switzerland and i live on invalid insurances cause i attempted s... 10 years ago so i m diagnosed like crazy. But i m not. I carried the incest of my mother all my life. I m broken kn many parts. Now i want to fix my self.
I have the right to be healed normally. I will do my best. I ask God and life to help me cause my mother blocked and blocks me from success and made and makes everything she could and can to stop me from any kind of freedom, power, independance, peace and happiness. Doctors know how plastic surgery works, so they don't risk of weakening the natural bone. After plastic surgery nose will break again easily some times it breaks without any force, living with a bent strong nose is better than living with a good looking but fragile nose .
I got my nose kicked in a fight on 2014 and now I have a crooked nose with a nasal passage blocked . Can it be fixed now after surgery?

Hi, I’m a 16 years old boy living in Iraq.. and today 21 July at nearly 4-6 PM, i got a broken nose because of a punch that moved my nose from the right to the left in a small amount. that I had no injuries outside my nose skin. But inside my left nose, there was a lot of blood.. Then I stopped my blood with a paper and now is all right.. and it’s 10:40 PM right now.. if you have any tips for fixing my nose or anything please reply to me.. Thanks

I just recently got into an accident on the city train, and I got punched in a face. It's been a week now, but I've been looking at my nose. I do have a slight pain, but it doesn't really like affecting my form of breathing

I think my broken nose is affecting my motor coordination cos I feel like I’m going to just faint or fall cos my legs are not strong on the ground. My nose bone makes a noise when I shift it and this happened long time ago. So I went to play football and someone hit me on my nose with an elbow after that happened I went home bathed added a rob on it and later went out to booze in the evening my guy gave me a joint of help I smoked and I got so high and dizzy I went home and started having vertigo and I struggled for a long time and it’s 3 days now I’m not yet coordinated. What might be the issue. I feel restless and can’t sleep. I think I have anxiety too.

Do you fix advanced nasal issues such as a revision rhinoplasties ?
This happened - what you’re describing with the bones shifting to one side and the gaps, along with a lot of other things bc of a doctor being way too aggressive.
I have wide dented in nasal bones and nasal valve collapse that’s bad.
I believe the nasal bones are digging into the nasal valve area.
But bc I am an ENS survivor if I get it fixed I have to be very careful.

My nose is broken for 20 years both septum(into two pieces) and the upper cartilege on the left edge. The bump never fully heals and it is super sensitive to cold weather and touch. It swoles every time it is even gently pressed as in washing face. How is that possible
What if you break the nose in a young age like 5 and it grew out really really bad and now it‘s cracking when you touch it and it‘s just really shifted over? Can it still be done and all the other health issues to it can they be reduced?

3 days ago I got hit in the face with a football. I then looked into the camera and in certain angles I can see a small bump on the right side of my nose where I got hit. I don’t like the way it looks but idk if its swelling or if it’s actually broken. When I glide my finger on the nasal bridge of the right side i feel a slight bump. What the hell do I do 😭
when a displaced fracture is reduced "back in position" (within 5 days of the fracture occurring) is it normal for the bone to still feel slightly protruded or does that mean it wasn't put all the way back into position?
Sir please notice i have my nose broken on june 1 and its june 12 now almost 3 weeks on the result it says i have a nasal bone fracture will my nose be fixed with no operation or need operation like close reduction?
during this time were you still able to participate in normal activities throughout the day
@@tristanballard339 yes but you can see the bone is not as it used to be so i got my close reduction operation of july 15 and still recovering now
I’ve been having trouble breathing thru one nostril. It’s only been 4 days since I injured my nose. Should I be concerned that I have a deviated septum and it can only be fixed with surgery? I’m starting to get really concerned since the swelling has went down and I still can’t breathe
I got hit in my nose and it was bleeding really bad but now couple weeks later I have a huge dorsal bump on my nose. Can this heal or would I have to get a rhinoplasty ?

I broke my nose because i fainted and hit my head.. Well the ER didn't do anything on my nose didn't even say that i needed to see a specialized Dr ! Didn't even touch my nose just left me like that! They only said the swallow will go away and most likely ur nose will look normal again will it looks kind of kirk it and i can feel the bone broken on the side of the nose!! Im so upset! Can I still something??

My stupid fucking "friend" punched me in the nose, intentionally. It's fractured but not displaced.
Lesson learned. Stay away from stupid people who intentionally try to give u major injuries.

Anyone knows what to do if you were punched in top of the nose ( near orbitals, more on the higher side from the middle of the nose), I feel like I had my nose crushed. Nose got bit swollen, bleed good for 15 mins, and like for a week now every time I wash my nose. Pain was like normal broken bone on day 1, now on day 7 its 2-3/10 on pain department. I heard a sound of breaking while getting punched. Feeling a bit of breathing problem, like I'm on 70-80% of total capacity. Any help would be appreciated :D
