and, reproduce His Majesty, through your Noble Voice, so, I could hear, God, whisper, to me. Thank you, Mr. Samuel Ramey. God, made sure, there were no copies, of, the Great Samuel Ramey.
What a voice, a gift from Heaven ... Maybe too classical and slow for some, yet listen to this tone and the amazing control of breath and phrasing ... Is there any other singer who can even remotely equal this?
Le registrazioni di Ramey sono una illusione dolce Enorme. Se mi ricordo bene 60 anni fa questo modo di porgere / abbaiando/ era semplicemente vietato. il vecchio
I've always loved this song and Samuel Ramey; but he sings this too slow. Just a little better tempo would have added so much to it; but it is still wonderful.
The tempo is too slow, and he should have sung it one or two half-steps higher than the A major he chose. The sheer singing is not bad, although Jerome Hines sang it better, also in A major.
Sam the Lion! Unbeatable!
Such a glorious voice, bravo!!!
What a set of lungs!!
Only two comments! If possible, he is too pure, too rich, and so monumental.
That's 3!
And all are absolutely correct!!
Gänsehaut pur......❤
Une voix de basse immense !
What a Beautiful Voice! ..Spectacular, Sir, and, the Good Lord, permits me to Praise, His Gifts, to little folks, as I,

That vibrato could be better though

Listen at 1.25 speed then.

I find it a wee bit ponderous, monumental, unfriendly, lacking histrionic warmth, unvaried - I don't feel as if I'm being told a story.
A good singer, but he does nothing for this song.
