I have the Casino. Fantastic guitar. There is something magical about that neck pickup. It does some wonderful, unpredictable things when it starts to break up. It has a nice mud mixed with broken glass kind of sound.
I have both and they are a great two guitars to have. The Casino is more of a singer songwriter guitar but it has great clean and break up tones from 7 -10....the 335 is a swiss army knife that'll cover any sound or style you need. My main guitars are the Casino, 335, tele and an HPL Martin. Unplugged the Casino is amazing and it's light as a feather. I have flatwounds on the 335 and round wounds on the Casino
The 335 is just as much a songwriter’s guitar. As a matter of fact, I tried writing a song on a Casino once and I farted so hard that it blasted me from the couch and right through my side window. It took 7 months to recover from my injuries. True story!
I’ve got one of each and love them both. The Casino is probably best for backing up vocals and jazzier tones, and I use the 335 for more rocky/bluesy sounds. Both are great guitars.
@@guitarguitaruk Thank you! I'm undecided between the two models for my next purchase, I have a Mexican strat, and I was for the 335 with the hambuckers, but the casino has charm

I just bought a Casino Worn, olive drab, and is an absolute joy to play. I love the single coil pickups.

I like them both!
Helpful video. I was expecting to hear more of a difference in sound than there was. Maybe more apparent in the room and in the player's hand?
Are the guitars balanced? have you found any neck dive problems?
Both really well balanced when standing up. The Casino is lighter (being fully hollow) but not the biggest difference :)

At last, someone who actually knows what "clean" sounds are. Nice job.
Clean 'n' serene
