How much can you grow on Twitch in 30 days?

- I tried growing on Twitch as much as possible in 30 days (from scratch)! Being a streamer has always been a dream of mine, but I never gave it a shot because everyone says that it’s really hard to grow. But I figured, you’ll never know unless if you try! So I decided to go all in on Twitch Streaming for 30 days to pursue my dreams and see how it would turn out :)

✰ Streaming Equipment ✰
Camera: amzn.to/42VWHz6
Camlink (for connecting my switch): amzn.to/48wn8wi
Elgato master mount L: amzn.to/48wniUq
Elgato flex arm L: amzn.to/48lQayI
But you definitely don't need fancy equipment to start streaming! In fact, I think it's better to start with just using your computer webcam (that's what I did). I slowly upgraded over the month, and this equipment is also helpful for my RUclips videos :)
✰ About my channel ✰
I make videos about exploring various anime related hobbies! Some stuff you can expect… kawaii arts and crafts, trying out cosplays, collecting figures, exploring Japan, and more! I want to share stories about pursuing my interests, and hopefully inspire other people to try them out too~ I hope the videos make you smile and leave your day a little bit brighter :)

Hiya!! If you're somehow reading this and confused about why the video is unlisted...
I spent a lot of time thinking recently, and I've decided that I wanted to take my channel more in the direction of cute/anime-related crafts, and less in the direction of video games/streaming.
As a result, the Twitch video isn't super representative of the future content I plan to make. And I don't want to disappoint new viewers who subscribe from the Twitch video, hoping for more streaming-related content... so I decided to put it the video in unlisted mode :')
Content strategy is hard stuff, and I'm trying really hard to grow! But it turns out that making sure you have a pretty specific niche is really important, especially on RUclips. But wishing everyone here the best on our content creation journeys :)
I'm reading this bc I haven't had time to watch the vid and it's just sitting in my watch later playlist❤
Oh
I watched this video more in the angle of "I tried X for Y days" than "twitch / gaming".
Also, WTF 11k subscribers??? Awesome growth 💪✨ I remember thinking it was nice that you had reached 2k and it was barely a month ago lol
@@Alayric Haha thank you!! I am grateful that the algorithm gods have chosen to bless me 😂
@@StellaSun11 You are your own blessing!
284 to 10k in a month less gooo
How
Definitely don't start streaming if your sole interest is to finance your life. It came across like that from you. One should stream as if they have 10,000 viewers even if they only have 1-2. Also, as a new streamer, I believe you shouldn't focus on stats; just have fun doing what you love, which is streaming/being a RUclipsr.
Kind of old story struggling and struggling to get any views and suddenly your account blows up you experience a massive growth allthow it may seem nice and simple but it isn't there are ton of streams who are doing bunch of entertaining stuf than siting and playing games without talking to there viewers please don't set fake expectations in anyone's head it's completely broken a person apart when he tries and fails miserably
This video was great! You should go for 60 days
you really highlighted the struggle for streamers. People usually only see the glamourous side so it's cool to see this other side as well!
Thank you :)
It’s been over 8years and I’m still working on my affiliate… I’m not going to stop though.
That was fun to watch!
joooo hab dich früher immer geguckt

Ha, you did for 30 days and got 55 or more followers, well done.
And I did this for 5 years and got 10 followers. lol
Haha thank you 😅
Just to let you know that I’m the 4k like and it’s satisfying
Hi, videolucas here, I'm glad to have suggested vidim raid you when I did. You have great positive energy for streaming imo. I think you can grow as a variety streamer if you find other new, popular games like Backpack Battles.
Thank you! Really appreciate your support during the stream and the encouraging words!! :)
@@StellaSun11 it's crazy how I never hit master lol
@@VideoLucas247 Game is too hard 🥲
hey stella, how did your stream friend know abt that game, I’d love to try to find a game like that and grow with it :D
Don't get me wrong, but is it easier for girls to become game streamers? Great video!
Being currently stuck in the rut that you were in around day 18, you’ve legit inspired me to refocus and keep at it. Loved your journey and how well this video was done, and I hope you continue to grow!
This is gonna blow up in exactly 27 days
LOL I hope so 😂 I've marked my calendar
its started @@StellaSun11
@@StellaSun11 well it blew up now i think!
@@supergdk5335Yea it’s been recorded to me like 3 times already

200 to 22K in 6 months is wild lucky plus whatever else you did to do this. Congrats. What did you do?
The biggest problem new streamers do is stream popular games like league.. There is 95k watching league rn.. What makes you special?? (no offence) Just Chatting attracts the most viewers currently but if you're not much of a social person, try community driven games like tell tale series games.
I think that the biggest problem with content creators now is their lack of strategy. Like they stream or upload every day, and then they run out of ideas. This business is about constant uploading, but not too many times per week (and also after I upload something, I use a bit of Famester to make my content viral instantly). It's better to upload like once or twice per week, and it helps to avoid burnout.
Nice comment. ✨
One thing I notice, about the creator's journey, is that part of "keeping the consistency" is learn how to be a content creator way before starting upload content.
.
And as your comment let it clear, it is all about being able to effectively find excellent content ideas, produce them at the highest level and all of this with an effective logic/strategy/plan behind.
Yes I agree.
It is easier said than done tbf
Agreed - especially longform videos. 1-3 a week is the sweet spot, 2-3 if you want faster growth as a newer channel (from research)
That's very true! I've personally found on my RUclips channel that spending more time to make really high quality videos has been WAY more effective than when I was trying to crank out lower quality content daily/weekly :)
You had almost 300 followers 2 months ago, and now you have almost 10k! I’m so happy for you💕 as someone who is just starting her RUclips channel it makes me happy to see that.
Over 10k now
takeaway:
-one game focus(expert in your craft/skill/field)
-RUclips and TikTok channel dedicated to that game
wow 300 subscribers to 10K after only 2 months keep up the grind!!!
This is really good. But we have to take into account that I would without a doubt spend all my time on growing, but the that's not the case with many people dealing with school/work. But if you're in this boat like I am, we got this :)
mabe you shoul have tryed some games like zooba, fotnight, call of duty,
What? You have 7K subscribers now? Yeah!
Do you use daVinci resolve? Can you make a tutorial on how you make your short videos please??
Only bad thing about making a channel about one game and only streaming and growing on one game is when you change games all them people who followed because of that game and not personality will no longer be watching. So a bunch of followers and viewers lost. I’ve done it. I’ve played one game and made videos. Was getting about 20 to 30 viewers each stream. The moment I switched games and tried streaming something different for a month. Each stream was at 3 viewers the entire time. It’s all just bs luck.
Ludwig gave this advice, always stream with a good youtube video in mind to create from the stream content. With this backpack game you could imagine things like tutorials, tier list of items, "how I hit diamond in 5 days", and just general youtube content outside vods with gaps edited out. Not that I stream currently but want to start in the summer...
Just discovered your RUclips channel love this type of content. Gives a real life insight into the world of content creation, I just wanted to ask what monitor are you using it looks so good🙌🏿🔥
So as a league player there’s absolutely nothing I can do more to get discovered unless I get raided? I’m already streaming everyday and posting on all my socials everyday
This is why I didn’t give my friends and family invites to watch the stream. It alters the viewership. If I blow up and go full time I’ll let them know. Also steaming to tik tok and twitch at the same time I’ve seen twitch growth
What is the thing you use to connect the laptop to the pc
Hey excuse me I'm a twitch streamer I stream directly to twitch through my Xbox series x but recently I've tried to stream and I go live everything is good it shows up that I'm live in my channel but once I end the live and check if the stream is up on my channel and it isn't I had got a copyright warning around when this started happening idk if anyone knows about this ?
Here in Brazil we have a streamer called Smzinho, who is streaming on youtube and twitch since 2013, 2014 more or less. In 2019, a video of him playing tekken 7 got viral, due his reaction of how bad is his gameplay (lol). But, even if he sucks at playing, people loved how he trully is. The city where he lives doesnt make any good content creator, I know because I live here too. But, with courage and a bit of nonsense, he created his own world, and I'm a part of it. One day, I'll be there...
i wanna hit affiliate so bad😅,and you incouraged me to keep grinding thank you
It took me about 10 years to hit affiliate. Granted I'd pretty much only stream & play N64 games since they're the only ones I like playing. But you accomplished in 30 days what took me 10 years. A good strategy is everything.
Thanks for everyone that unliked this video
So a lot of the time small streamers will get bigger by becoming a pro athlete in certain games and by joining esports teams. This is how some become big streamers with an average of 1 or 2 million followers in a span of 1 - 3 years their viewer count is arouns 1k to 20k on average in their daily streams.
This is the exact outlook I got on streaming for my gaming channel. And since I stopped wasting time streaming to no one and focused like 2 months straight on just TikTok and RUclips/shorts I’ve had multiple TikTok’s and shorts blow up and I’ve reached 1.5k on TikTok and I’m approaching 500 subs on YT. I grew on TikTok more because I’m not niche stuck so I have more content on things i would like to post. So long story short I kinda stopped being consistent with RUclips videos because how time consuming it was and because I knew certain content wouldn’t work on that channel. But I definitely have a lot more faith in growing as a creator because of these past two months.
this was helpful to see how I am doing in comparison and I hit affiliate in 51 days.
Yeah it´s hard but possible, sadly i had back then 2.5mb of download and 1mb to stream. Years passed and the company decided to give us 50gb every 3 days, with 4 years without the internet and normal telephone it was good but i dedicated more time in here at youtube, then i can finally stream with 1080p but sadly i have many videos to work on first before i go back,it was like 2 weeks ago that i have 300mb and some told me that the basic is 500mb,it´s ok for me since i come from 1mb,up to 10mb and theeen i can finally use decent stream. To be fair you don´t have to be worry about money in case you do streams to earn some, play and have fun, eventually that will come, also i don´t recommend to buy a gamer pc to do streams in case you want to live from streams,in case that doesn´t happen you will waste money,BUT,if you do and don´t mind to pay for a deeecent pc it´s ok,do not buy the latest things until you see a progress, buy a normal monitor, normal mic and so,theeen if that happen then you can buy the good things. Grettings from Argentina, like and new sub.
Which program do you use to edit? I also want to start streaming! 🎉
not exactly 30 days ,but I did reach 35 fallowers on Twitch with only 4 stream .
8.7k subs in 2 months? STELLA YOU ARE KILLING IT +1 SUB
I really enjoyed seeing this process. You were so informative while entertaining. I hope you make partner. I would love to see you do this type of video but for youtube or tiktok. You have a new sub gained! ❤
why is this unlisted?

easier for girls just saying
can you post the notes you were taking 🙏🙏
Sad to see you didn't continue to stream
thats very good for 30 days. my friend streams too and he always has 1 viewer himself
Recommended by RUclips! I’ve been using (and only use) Twitch for almost 3 years and it’s really interesting to see your experiences and struggles. Keep at it (°▽°) Even if you don’t keep streaming, you seem really cool!
Love the dygma keyboard
hi! what video editing program were you using in the video?
Its definitely easier for girls to grow an audeince because i lot more guy use twitch and you know how guys are
Just posted my first video nothing great but it’s a start 😁
Play valorant or league of legends or Dota 2
This is genuinely one of the best Twitch growth videos I have ever seen and it took me back to when I started streaming 5 years ago... What a throwback. Very well done on the challenge and the growth on your channel so far! I also took a step back to focus more on RUclips and still making plans to make that a reality and it's nice to see you doing the same 😀 Definitely earned a sub!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the kind words. And best of luck on your creator journey too! 😄
It's quite simple, to be succesful in content creation. You need authenticity. Especially streaming.
See I've heard that before stream a game that is blowing up....but if ya don't like that game or just not into it...I see it as then it's a job and you're just doing it views and not for the fun of what you like....to me the days of streaming what you want and getting somewhere are almost gone, now you have to cater to new games and what is popping at the time....or be a pro at something...anyway keep up the good work...
I was wondering what ur editing software was that you were using to edit videos and tiktoks?
Damn gaming on a trackpad omg lmaooo. And not to speak of gaming on Mac. Lol.
You should share the notes you took when watching videos! I would love to read it
I've streamed for more than 10 years. And I only have 20 followers. And I think it's only bots that wants you to pay for their service for more followers. Like no. I guess It's true for a girl to hit a mill some day. But for a Normal guy it's just sad.
based on my experience, my first few viewers are just bunch of ads plug. Im still entertain them like a normal viewer, but rejecting their awful AI generated stuffs. But I got raided by someone with 5 viewers on the last Christmas while playing Bloons TD, its kinda chill when you have an actual person who just wants to chat with instead of self plugging
Hey, the video is really helpful, I loved the tips you shared. Are you using a secondary monitor or is that a different pc? If you dont mind me asking, thank you :)
Bro u went from 200 to 9k subs in 2 months. Great job 👍
its insane you got affilate in a month! its been taking me almost 4 years to get affilate and I usually get viewers like 4 most of the time! love this video tho it taught me how to grow
Keep grinding! I streamed yesterday and went from 9 followers to 41 🤯
Dang that's crazy growth! Congrats :D
That is big, congrats
you have some crazy videos my brother
Ty bro. It is just a videogame review.@@67877hh
congrats bro!
i am suuuuper interested of learning from you how to edit please T,T i am sure it will help many other people as well
Stella when i make a game can you play it on stream plsssss!!!
still learning that small growth is better than no growth and just to trust the grind
im more of a tik toker, but this video made me more eager to be able to hit 1k on tik tok and go live! thank you for this, i really want to do live streams ♥
evan i have one chanel should i crate another one or kepp on this account
ENERGY IS AWESOME!@!
how to become a stremmer
what software do you use for editing ?
9:25 was to funny
well on the 3 month for me and still not manage to do it ... something wrong with this illusion that is easy
❤
This was a great video thanks!
Bad streaming game selection, thaths it. a popular game with nice content clipped goes viral all over tik tok but this game is not that entertaining with no really intresting content
Is that clawbert? Or am i just stupid
Awesome video!
Damn my friends don't believe in me :(
Very good vid i see and i now how much sub men so i sub
Hey if you see this I want to ask what you use to make your thumbnails because I feel like the thumbnails I make look really low quality and I don't pay for any editing apps.
My first viewer is me 😃
clara girl lmao
do you know how to stop lag? cah recently ive been lagging smm :(
[6380]
how did you do that
you sound exactly like soso from orange is the new black
All of these strategies are very good although i believe that it's easier to gain viewers by streaming on youtube than on twitch since your stream can get recommended to people with very few views at least in the beginning. Secondly it's really important to give people what they want to watch for example: some new game is blowing up and has barely any streamers or an already existing game with an established fanbase hasn't had new content ideas for a while that seem that interesting, i chose the latter and even though i have much more to improve people are willing to watch the content because it's something not many people have made videos about. Sorry about the yap session and i wish you the best at succeding in your journey.
Live stream SpaceX launches!

what do you use to edit you're videos
You should do it again but FACELESS
Nice video I can't believe that you only have 9k subs your content is way better then a 9k subs channel keep it up.
