The statement at the end of the video that most jews (or even most orthodox jews) will know who you are talking about if you simply say "HaRav" is inaccurate. There are multiple people known as HaRav in different orthodox communities, and HaRav is used a respectful way to address a living Rabbi in the third person. Since this video is primarily intended (at least in my perception) for non-hebrew speaking and non-orthodox audience, I think this should be removed from the end of the video, as if someone who watches this video goes and speaks to an orthodox jew or secular israeli and says "HaRav" in abstract, the answer will be one of confusion and "which rav?"
This guy looks a very decent wise man. Digging into his writings I read this was the guy who stated "the difference between the jewish soul and the soul of a goi is greater than the gap between human soul and animal soul" and that the "The Jewish people are superior to all nations of the earth [...] superior even with regard to those who are the wisest and most saintly among the nations." how nice and how flattering to us all. Talking about superiority complex and supremacy one musn't go further.
Well, as a Jew reviewing the history of what non-Jews have done to Jews, he was not aware of how correct he was. There should be as many Jews in the world as there are Chinese-the reason there aren't is not because of planned parenthood.
Why don't you read the unadvertised history of those tribal people instead? There are surprising details of them acknowledging what they have done to deserve unparalelled acceptence. There is nothing like reading it from the horse's mouth.
It has nothing to do with what other people did to them. They are taught they are gonna be regretted for what they do in every land that is why they were thrown out of most countries several times in history. They know they deserve it they just want to avoid the consequences by blaming it collectively on others. After all that is what their yom kippur ritual is all about. Seems like their writings are a blueprint to a plan of world domination through usury and other means of deceptions like christianity and communism, freemasonry etc.
Correction: the claim that all halitzim were secular and antitheists (anti religion) in incorrect. Although it is true that the first communes and most of the people who came in the second and third alliya were secular, many religious jews arrived to the land in between 1850-1939. If memory serves correctly, half of the people who established petach tikva (which doesnt exist xD) were religious
The Kuntillet ‘Ajrud inscriptions mention blessings by the names of YHWH of Samaria and YHWH of Teman. Like all ancient Near Eastern gods, these two regional gods must have had central temples. This article examines their possible locations and suggests that the combination of the Kuntillet ‘Ajrud inscriptions with the eighth-century prophecies of Amos and Hosea holds the key for identifying these. In light of a detailed analysis of Hosea’s and Amos’ prophecies, it is further suggested that YHWH of Samaria was the name of the major God of the Kingdom of Israel and his main temple was located at Bethel, and that YHWH of Teman was the name of the God of the southern desert regions and his temple was located at Beer-sheba. Israelite traders who traveled southward probably visited the latter god’s temple, offered him sacrifices, made vows to repay him if they succeed in the expedition, and thus turned him to be their patron god during their travel in the desert region. This suggested identification explains why the Judahite cult place of Beer-sheba appears in Amos’ prophecy alongside the Israelite sanctuaries of Bethel, Gilgal, and Dan.
As a Muslim I have always been told about Neturei Karta when it comes to Ultra-Orthodox Jews that they represent the authentic religious Jewish view about Israel. That according to them real Torah Jews hate Israel and regard Jews who live in Israel or have love for Israel as apostates and not real Jews. After thoroughly reading up on Haredi views about Israel, I now realize that many of them are not really against living in the land of Israel and they have been in communication with other Jews in Israel. They just have a range of different views about how to deal with the State of Israel, some are neutral, some are quite supportive, and while there are still many who uphold non Zionist or even anti Zionist views, the Neturei Karta who burn the Israeli flags and wave the Palestinian flags or meet with the Iranian leaders in the Holocaust denial event are just a very fringe group within the Haredim.
Naturei Karta are a very small group of people, arguably divergent and diaturbed given there particularly unusual views and actions. They play no role in the social, economic or political fabric of what is Israel and have zero legitimacy except from themselves.
Among the Orthodox, some of the Jews are Not Zionists because they believe Israel must be founded on the spiritual principle including the Great Temple, or the messiah is some form, as king for example. The original term for the concept is actually Tsionism, and in Hebrew it implicates a diversity within Judaism and peaceful coalition with our neighbours, as I understand it.
