According to Tormek support, a little grease on the inside face (away from the grinding wheel) ofthe spacer will help prevent the EZYlock from jamming.
@@kens4741 I’ve never had mine get stuck that I remember doing the twist is opposite direction always gets mine off but they are well broken in too because before I had multiple machines I changed wheels a lot.

that little washer is called a "Wave Spring Washer"

@@ALXSHARPEN Three years ago I ordered a stainless arbor shaft upgrade for my T7, and the kit does not come with that washer.
