replaceable bands of some type on broadheads are the only mechanical type heads i will use. weather it be rubber bands, orings, or heat shrink. you cant beat the availability, cheap price, ease of changing, and simplicity of them. they are a HUGE benefit in my opinion over springs, clips, or little figity custom parts that you have to order from the manufacturer to be able to replace.
Awesome test, the only thing I've seen with actually hitting a deer is the slap cut on entry was easily 2". Didn't hit any bones and had a complete pass thru, great blood trails. Since then I have started shooting Iron will's with bleeders. I don't like the loss of penetration because of the small wings that hang past the cutting edge, It loses a ton of kinetic energy due to those blunt edges. Supposedly the 1.5" sevr doesn't have that issue. All in all they are super tough heads and I've killed 2 deer and a coyote with the same head just touched up the edge.
I know they make these o rings to stretch quite a bit before they break. I normally agree on bands but these I haven’t had any issue. Personally I shoot the 1.5. I concentrate more on penetration. 2 smaller holes are better than one big one with arrow still in. Imo
Great and honest review!!!!! I have SEVRs and I've been very happy with the performance! Honestly, I also change broadheads (different ones according to what I will harvest)???? Anyway, excellent video! Thanks Mike
Ive been using the ROBUSTO 2.0 BROADHEAD no complaints opened on the deer I shot with it. Never seen a fail either in the target shooting out of a boss 405 crossbow.
I have shot 2 doe this season one with 1.5 titanium out of wicked ridge crossbow and one with the 2.0 robusto out of 70lb pse compund . Both heads opened perfectly held up awesome . Blades bent just a little .
Clifton just listened to the Southern Outdoorsman Podcast that featured you. Just curious if you would be willing to give your feedback on a topo map of a new spot I got this year? Thanks
Deer? Hog? Nope a watermelon! Omg if we were hunting watermelon then any of this info would be useful. I doubt though. SMH it don't open once inside! Once the levers extend past 1/8 inch they start to open.

That’s NOT a rubber band .
It’s a silicon O ring not rubber so it won’t shrink or dry-rot.

Thank you for watching!
Thought about shooting these out of my crossbow, but been seeing people claimed they aren’t opening? Any one shoot these religiously?

Most of these kinda complaints are due to gel test on RUclips where they dont open due to the material

Absolutely
Good review, not a fan of mechanical broadheads personally, but those look nasty.

Nope. Use a fixed blade or a 3 blade mechanical
