- Our first race back out and it was a rough one for more people than just us. There was a total of 5 fairly bad wrecks and then we broke which was a blessing in disguise! But the weather was amazing and we were so happy to be back out and racing!

Imagine if you didnt break you probably would be out of a car again. Things always happen for a reason this is a blessing in disguise.

Your comfortable that go the fastest that you can…until then your essentially just going backwards or spinning your wheels o pun intended 😅… bc and I get your probably using it for testing but you can’t really test it hen your racing … just my thoughts are everytime you pulling offf the trailer you should be prepared to do a PB … which I guess you think you can win these races with farther way it is …. Is she a 100% or is how close is she …?? I can’t wait till you go out there and kicking ass … 💪🏼💯🖕🏻😬😅

One thing is good,those hot boy brakes seem to work pretty good!! Heck, it’s time to freshen the ol boy up,& upgrade the camshaft! Glad you have a spare too! Next go around will be a winner! You got the bugs out that’s for sure.

That's so crazy those bolts backed out with the plate on it! I always orange loctite all my stuff anymore, after my LS pickup tube bolt came out on my last motor.

Tough break brother, but..that's why u the man@!! P.S.....when you peddled the car, you filled the cylinders with fuel. Somehow. That hydrolocked your engine, and caused the catastrophe. Id refrain from letting on & off at that pace, your pumping crazy fuel pressure at that engine speed. Keep up good content brother, love you guys❤

I was watching the race on Ticklefitz live feed and what a rough weekend 4 some. Though you did well 4 first time back out racing. Was like oh shit when that went down between Bear trap and you. Hopefully you can get the parts to get her fixed and back out.
Im not real religious but my God that really makes you think there's a higher power watching over us sometimes. That engine couldn't have picked a better time for breaking. Watched some of the Livestream but with all the wrecks i gave up. Glad you made it out of there in one piece.
Should be able to get the broken bolts out of the camshaft and put a new pin in and reuse it save that money
Wow, your 2nd faster pass with a procharger and you made it look easy. Didn't look like you were making the car work that hard.. the loss of weight and improvements with rear-end etc have obviously paid off.. there's a custom Harley builder in Arizona that I saw a clip of a softail that he installed a procharger on!!! It's a wild beast.. somewhere around 300 hp and torque.. that's insane for anyone who doesn't ride 2 wheels

That is wild that people pulled out of it and wouldn't race. You run what the track will hold. Not give up.
Just like all types of racing. No Prep started off gutter but now they have Inconel valves and shock sensors to protect.

Inconel valve and shock sensors have been around for a long time buddy, before no prep, it's just that now no prep has really stepped it up as far as the money that people put into the cars and the money that you can make in no prep I mean God they have a no prep TV show so yeah a lot more money to be made and a lot more money you put into these cars but ProMod, top fuel, pro stock, they've used shock sensors and inconel valves for many many years.
But like I said now people are just putting a lot more money into the no prep game that's all but you're right that among many many other sensors are used now for safety reasons among many others like adjusting for track conditions different tunes for different times of the day different tunes for different DAs and barrows (. Das= density altitude , barrows= barometric pressure)
I didn't put that in quotations cuz I didn't think you know what I meant I just put that in quotations for anybody who did not know what I meant that's all no hate here in this comment just spreading a little bit of what I've learned and know.

Somebody was looking out for you I don't want to say I'm glad your engine broke but I can almost guarantee you would have been side by side or a little bit ahead of him and he would have took out your car just after you brought it back out... Ryan, a severe vibration has obviously went throughout the car and into the engine. Will you just start putting together your short block as long as you can get a cam quickly or will you fix the issues and go back to feeding er the corn, grabbin da gears, burnin rubba?? And will you have complete confidence in patching the current power plant?? I will get my answer hopefully next video.. I personally am not a racer but I would have issues with trusting it knowing that it's seen better days and it's patched together

I just noticed something funny I watched a lot of the videos that you put out since you rebuilt the car while all of them as a matter of fact and every one of them with the GoPro footage in car or it points out the passenger side it looks like the huge gap in the door like I mean it would rip it off but when I look at it and really pay attention it's not a door gap it's the gap between the roll cage in the door through the windshield but it looks like a gap in the door it's crazy I don't even know why I commented this but I just thought it was something that was silly that's all maybe it's just my old eyes lol.
And watch the video over again and now it looks like there is a big gap in the passenger door I don't know maybe somebody else chime in and tell me what you guys think cuz that just doesn't seem right it seems like it'll pull that door right off that car I don't care what kind of fasteners are using or door latches but that's just my opinion please anybody else chime in cuz I'm baffled right now cuz it really does look like a at least one and a half inch gap between the door and the door frame on the body on the passenger side crazy anyway if anybody can clear that up for me please do thank you have a good night.
