Agreed little boy just trying to make sense of the world. Meanwhile people that don't like him "MaN uP cRy BaBY" to this day that boy is my favorite ff character
@@arcanegamer2723 yeah I think so too I think prompto is still pretty human in his own right. I forgot what happened which led him to want to do it but I remember him working out just to be friends with noctis. Idk what message they were sending us but I interpreted that as working hard towards a goal. Don't know why he did what he did but maybe he felt ashamed not living up to his standards? If it's a matter of meeting the standards of noctis then the story feels a tad bit darker now that I'm typing it out
Hope is the most playable character i've ever seen..He makes a good summoner and he looks cute when he fights with his boomerang..Love him so much.I also like him when he's in Final Fantasy XIII-2..
Alexander is my favorite summon in all FF games! I loved that he was chosen for Hope. Hope is so frail and meak on the outside and Alexander is so big and sturdy he compliments the perfect "test" of Hope's determination and will to go on.
Same, He’s above even diablos and anima in my pick for best summon. Heck I frankly see this as one of his lesser designs and the sight of Alexander is still awe-inspiring.
You are not alone when hope said I don't want to see you get hurt because of me but I believe that's why Alexander chose him because a weak person knows the true value of strength and what that word really means
People say Hope is anyoing, but he written exactly how someone his age would act in these situations. He's 14, smart but obviously doesn't have much friends, and his entire world is his mother who just died in front of him. Not only that he now an enemy of the state and trapped by fate. Oh and for the first 1/3 of the game the only emotional support he has is Lightning. Of course he would whine and cry
Yeah it's a fun game. My favorite is doing the scythe stone missions. Sitting down and reading the stories of the past and seeing how they all tie into each other is what makes it all amazing.
I'm surprised to hear that anybody has played this game that many times given its bad reputation! Granted, I agree that it's fun -- even exceptional in some ways -- but it's far from my favorite FF game, and I've NEVER played these games more than three times!
As the saying goes "A man's Hope is his Castle" Alexander when in Gestalt mode turns into a fortified Castle with walls made of cannons. Basically due to Hope's inability to acknowledge his own strengths Alexander is essentially a manifestation of Hope's own weaknesses.Basically Alexander is therefor summoned to put Hope back on track.Apart from putting the doom counter on Hope Alexander doesn't really do anything but acts like a punching bag in order for Hope to feel good about himself. It was at this moment when Alexander acknowledges Hope's strength that he rewards Hope with his summoning crystal and after this encounter Hope becomes ever so confident in himself it's commendable on how far Hope has grown up to this point.
He can't do much without support. But supposedly, he is the strongest, because Hope can equip him with different elemental damage, unlike the others who already have a specific element.
+Simon O'Hagan it's kinda weird. I didn't play this game long (I didn't own it) but the important thing is always changing your paradigms, because every class will only do the same abilities all the time. Do you have any idea how fast and strong these enemies are? They can fucking KO you in two hits if you don't react fast enough. There are some common enemies that can destroy you with one hit, if you're not careful.
@@keymaker9529 lol I love to spam Death against the Adamantoise cause atm that's the only effective way of me killing them (my highest hp character is Snow who has 12k hp. Vanille has only 8k, and the only reason she survives 3 hits is because she has 53% physical and magic resistance)
Hope: a word usually meaning how one never gives up, looks towards the light and knows things will become better for others. However apparently in FFXIII, it means you're a little bitch. However knowing his Eidolon, this little welp actually can be kinda badass
fang and lightning were the coolest but hope was the most relatable

@@mirror2922 way more relateable than prompto from ffxv

"This isn't an ordeal this is a gift" one of the best lines in ff13!

snow shouldve fought with hope. he did say he was gonna protect him
darkfire170 you can tag him in the fight (don't quote me on that, it's been a while.)
He's a gay boy and those are his adoptive moms, it's the most appropriate party comp for this fight.
Aw am I the only one who cried for this summon and lights
I always cry here. I see some of myself in Hope so I connect with him most.
cried when I played this part. came back for the feels
Totally!
If they were gonna make Alexander a vehicle, they should have made him a battle tank.
I actually think a castle, the symbol for last line defenses, honors the protective and altruistic nature of Hope.
Shit look like a generator
@@alekso8254what generator you buying
Lol I love how Fang and Light just hop back and everyone else land on their butt xD
I cried so hard escpecially at the part when alexander makes tht noise before the battle starts. I cri everytim
While the others had fear for themselves, he was scared of losing someone for not being strong enough. I feel somehow related to him.
Hope and sazh are actually my favorites.
Makes me cry every time. When all hope is gone the universe sends a sign to keep going.
My favorite character in 13 with my favorite summon in both 6 and 7.
I'm currently on my 12th run through of the game and I have hope as part of my tank squad

Alexander does not like lightning and fang lol
This is the nicest Lighting has been to anyone lol
This eidolon is hard. It took me many tries before I defeated it.
The only one I had issues and never got past was vanilles though this one was still hard sadly never finished the game cause of it.
Weird that the recent dissidia made this summon a battle ship. Which would be cool for this summon to fly as a battle ship in the main game
looking with in yourself to find what what is hidden in your heart
Snow and Sazh looks like they're bullying Hope..Haha cuttee!!
hope's eidolon is huge
he is not the weakest.
Tbh I came here for the cutscene. 😊
Eidolon, with Moustache :D
The best eidolon to have :D
I was wondering to what vehicle he will become, he is just a wall :/
*Castle/Fortress, much more intimidating than a wall.
@@DeviltoGeorgia34 too keep everyone safe from danger. It's what Hope wants for his friends. 🏰
E assim foi criado uma das melhores party do game :Fang , Lightning e Hope
MI NIÑO LO AMABA DE PEQUEÑA Y AHORA LE TENGO UN CARIÑO A SU VERSIÓN PEQUEÑA🥹
Hope is a war god
What's this music? I love it.
Pre-fight cutscene: Sustained by hate; Fight: Test of the l'cie; Post-fight cutscene: Vanille's theme
Whats the OST playing before the Eidolon fight?
Sustained by Hate
i need to ask, what is that song when be summons alexander?
It's called "Sustained by Hate"
+Luke Schlachter THANK YOU!!!! I hope you have a good day!
Thanks so much, take care!
beautiful story moment, but the fight itself it's the fucking worse
How in the heck did you beat that battle while the counter was in the quad digits i got it on double digits
what exactly did Alexander turn into at the end?
As the saying goes "A man's Hope is his Castle"

is it me or did alexander seem kinda easy?
People say he's one of the more difficult ones to do but I never have an issue with him. Often times it's more his desire to be "Quake Happy"
He can't do much without support. But supposedly, he is the strongest, because Hope can equip him with different elemental damage, unlike the others who already have a specific element.
I find that the top 3 hardest Eidolon fights are
1)Behemut
2)Hecatoncheir
And 3)Odin
Easy, just heal heal heal. That's basically Hope's strength.
Sustained By Hate
THANK YOU!!! I've been looking for the name for a long while now
FREAKINGOHMYGOD! I HATE THIS BOSS!
So you literally can just auto chain a bunch of times and then you win??? Where's the skill in that?
+Simon O'Hagan it's kinda weird. Oh yes. Keep auto-chain against Barthandelus, Long Gui, Ochu and Titan's Trial boss and you will win :D
Timing is everything. Main draw of this game is to be efficient. Know when to switch paradigms and for how long.
