One of the things that I’ve learn from my treatment is to use a tennis ball to roll it under your feet or even a lacrosse one (there’s more resistance on this one). It helps to break the inflamed fibers and speeds up the recovery process

The mystery for me isn't what I can do to treat it, but what keeps causing it? I get flare ups. This time around I'm guessing my running shoes were worn out but man, it takes forever for it to heal. I feel like a crippled old woman. I go to stand up and can barely move.

My tips...are stretching see vid, wear compression half socks, do the water bottle thing, keep your calve muscles warm and wear proper shoes and eat right. I get out of bed into good sandals that support my foot and the heel pain is beaten immediately. As it's the mechanism of muscles around the lower leg...not just your foot that's out of sync I have found that wearing shorts keeps them cold but jog pants makes them warm. I have tried to eat food with less crap in generally and when it is bad rolling the foot on a bottle of ice relieves the pain. In summary I feel as total layman that it's treating the whole Lower leg that will beat the heel pain with massage to treat symptoms.

I had a partial tear in my anterior talofibular ligament that gave me pain in the back of my ankle. The doctor said it was achillis tendonitis .This was last november. Now i recently got plantar fascittis after doing speed work out for running acouple weeks ago.

FOAM ROLLING my calf muscles!! I started doing this for a few minutes every day and after 2 days my pain was practically gone. I had this for years , it was extremely painful. until i heard that walking on grass or sand would help. So i grabbed a bag of sandbox sand and i walked on the bag back from toe to arch everyday. Getting blood to all parts of my feet. I walked on grass barefooted everyday for at least 20 minutes a day. I also bought shoes that supported my arches.I really couldnt walk in the morning without lots of pain. It took about 30 minutes before i could walk without some pain. But you know what, it worked.Im happy to say im in no pain. Pain Free. You see are feet were never meant to walk on hard surfaces. In the old times people wore sandles and walked on sand and soft surfaces. Grass also is good to your feet. It allows blood to circulate through your feet. Walking on grass is like a spiritual feeling like we are one with our Creator. Jesus made are feet to be treated with care and less walking on pavement. Concrete and asphalt was the worst invention man ever came up. It reeks havoc on are whole skeletal system, back spine neck, you name it. Take the time to baby your feet everyday by walking on sand, grass and anything that doesn't put hard pressure on them . At least once a day. You will see a miracle happen before your eyes one day. Believe it.

AT PT some places use a 'hawk grip' tool to rub and spread out the Fascia on the bottom of your feet. it's almost painful and very awkward at 1st but after a few times you'll look forward to it.
I have had this condition for almost 10 years and it get worse every year mainly because i've gained weight. it sucks

I had several conditions before hand doc - big toe cramps i tried to relieve by stretching, next pain - both probably linked to a 'leg extension machine' - then finally Plantar I know just before I got it I had a couple lengthy walks. In the past they were no problem.
Saw a doc a week and a half and it was quiet but returned last night.
Could the cramp stretching and machine be a factor? I know walking could be too.

here's a few tips for plantar foot treatments
    Try to rest your feet
    Consider Wearing supportive footwear
    Try ice on your heel
Take ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce pain and inflammation
    Wear night splints
    Do stretching and strengthening exercises.
(I discovered these and why they work on Rohon foot care site )

was Diagnosed couple months back. For some time pain was generally gone but felt minor pain standing a long period a few days back and a lot more during a lengthy walk today.
I feel no pain if I'm not doing activity.
My work involves walking at times - but I am accustomed to lengthy walks and barely had anything close to this recurring pain.
Going to stretch more often - but a doctor did mention to me injecting a steroid as a later resort.

Tip- the stretch? Do the total complete opposite of what she’s said. Bend your foot the opposite way (you’ll have to sit down and use your hands to do the bending)

Wth is this? I woke up this morning at 5 , went to the bathroom then went back to bed. Got up 2 hrs later, as soon as my foot hit the floor it was like I stepped on Lego ! Yes I walk A LOT ! 30 MILES a week. Not including regular steps around the house.
Im retired, walking is all I got. I wear expensive well fitting shoes and replace them regularly.

Those Nikes are not good shoes for plantar fasciitis, they do not have the proper support. I myself found that Brooks Addiction Walkers are very supportive.

This was great, thanks, I've been looking for "hiking boots for plantar fasciitis women's" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Seayiliamon Aphonic Supremacy - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to eliminate your plantar fasciitis minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my brother in law got excellent success with it.

If you find you still have pain in your foot I have the solution for you, which none of these videos seem to discuss. Just don't use your foot! Rest! Get a pair or crutches! Try that for two weeks.

Thinking of amputating my feet with a freight train, but then I won't be able to do my kickboxing ! That's how bad the pain is. BTW the custom orthopedics which I payed 600 dollars for do NOTHING !
