    Drawbacks: no cruise control, no center stand. For that purpose long travel becomes tricky (tiresome driving, cannot lubricate chain alone). But the consumption isn't that high, unless you race of course (talking about unlocked model).

      After riding in the night I may safely claim that the high beam of that bike is unfortunately only effective as a low beam. Therefore if you plan riding in the night that bike is not suitable for the highway at all as the visibility is limited to 70m.

    Great review BenalRida. Like you, I also have an XMax 300 which is perfect for day-to-day use (especially after upgrading the suspension), but I want something a bit bigger for longer rides and carrying a pillion. I'm looking at this Versys 650 as well as the Triumph Tiger Sport 660. For me, the bike must have the option of luggage (which both have), adjustable rear suspension (tick for both) and enough power for two-up (hmm, maybe). Pity there is no cruise control.

      It's not smart to get a mid size for 2 riders unless you both add up to less than 200lbs and travel lightly. You'll have less regrets with 1000cc. 6-700s aren't really built for 2-up touring. They will be maxed out in both weight+power.

    Thank you for the support of Ukraine! I have had honda cb500x 2018 and now i am thinking about a new one. really hesitate between this bike, honda nc750x, suzuki v-storm 650xt, yamaha MT-07 Tracer. after your review i am more inclined to Kawasaki. I am particularly pleased with the height of the saddle on this motorcycle) cheers!

    I’ve put in my preorder for this bike this week. Only with supply problems the estimated delivery time is set somewhere in september. Which doesn’t really matter since my final motorcycle exam is coincidentally scheduled at the same day that the bike is supposed to be delivered.

    Very nice review thank you! I just have one question, so this is the 48HP version, does the dealer restrict it? So this same bike can be 67 HP? Just the dealer changes the software ?? It's very important to me to get answer to this question because i am going to buy same Versys 650, but the dealer said they can make it 48HP or 67HP at the dealership. Is that true or no?

    • @BenalRida
      @BenalRida  2 года назад +1

      Hello, yes, that's what the my dealer told me as well. They restrict or derestrict it a the dealership. I had a Z900 with 48 HP and was thinking of opening it up to 95 HP. It would have cost me about 400 EUR :(

    I'm not sure, 6.1l/100km is pretty bad for such a small engine, vfr1200x I thought is bad but needs around 6.5l/100km. For more comparison: cb500x - 3.5l, nc750x - 4l. With current fuel prices, at least in Europe, it's an important factor.

    I’m seriously considering this bike but I worry about the throttle control and fuelling. It’s hard to get a good bike without these issues. I hear that 1st and 2nd gear can shutter when taking off. If you can confirm or deny this I will be very grateful.

    • @BenalRida
      @BenalRida  2 года назад +1

      Hello, I cannot really confirm it, however, with 48 HP bikes I have noticed in the past that the throttle is very twitchy.
