Just bought a 2021 all black. The bike is beautiful, and easy to ride if not a little top heavy. It sparks a lot of positive interest at fuel stops with mpg being a little over 50. 1st gear is a little taller than I would like, but that’s an easy fix. I love the hard saddle bags for commuting to work. The brakes are incredible almost too good with only one finger needed on the front brake lever.

Thanks for the great video! It's the best explanation of the different Versys generations that I've seen. I've been a huge Versys 650 fan since the first time I rode one in 2010 and I currently have a 2015 Versys 1000 LT in the garage. It's also a great bike but not as fun as the 650.
Kawasaki may have missed something in the marketing of this bike though - Versys (versatile system) sounds incredibly boring! Anyone who has spent time in the saddle on the Versys knows better!

Erm...I think you accidentally mixed up the total length of these bikes with their respective wheelbases. I'm fairly certin these bikes don't have the same wheelbas as....a very long cruiser?

Wow very nice bikes. Really curious what the price ranges on these. Thinking you really got my attention with the versatility and glowing reviews. Curious what you think would serve a smaller and admittedly weaker guy. What is best trying to move the next step up from a grom clone. Honestly been looking at the Honda rebel 300 or 500. Looking for something with a low seat height as well at 5’8 and limited experience I like the confidence that comes with being able to be flat footed on the ground while in the saddle. Also looking for the best bike I can and the lowest price range possible. Having a detached abdominal wall and exposed intestines I think sticking with something very lightweight and limited power is actually a good thing. Just enough to keep up with traffic on the expressway would be perfect. Whattya think Unkie Phil? Really curious to pick the brain of a man with as much experience with different bikes of all shapes and sizes. What wou you and the rest of the crew on the podcast recommend.

The Ninja 400 is pretty much unbeatable if you like the Sportbike style. There is a Versys 300 now, but I've ridden it and it lacks power on the freeway.

You're selling the Versys damn well for just a comparison video...
