I love how Megatron just man handles tf out of you. Slamming you into the ground, kicking you across the floor, Hulk slamming you back and forth. A true powerhouse.
And his 500ft piledriver
Literally he’s beating up Optimus Prime like nothing it would make sense for Megatron to do all that to Hot Shot and Red Alert but doing it all on Optimus Prime makes Optimus a pushover.

Nah this whole game is great top to bottom. The Mini-Cons are a great touch and really give this game a fuckton of freedom.

Megatron was a badass in this game. It's so hard to kill him.
But it's the easy way to defeat him
Plus, this player have DEFINITELY the wrong weapon. Each time I battles against him, I bring the rocket. The second blaster make more effect than this laser beam. A lot of weapon in this game is more than just a joke! The sniper is a good thing to bring too if you can against him.

This game's graphics look really good for 2004. Also love the ragdoll physics, shame I missed out on playing this.

The fact that Megatron does a fucking Undertaker Tombstone Piledriver off a volcano was what scared me as a kid.

It's honestly shocking how a licensed game managed to so perfectly capture the character of a villain in the bossfight through gameplay and dialogue, the way Megatron just picks up and slams you, and then kicks you away like trash. Plus you fight in a god damn volcano, how is that not badass as fuck.
I remember my parents buying me a ps2 and getting this game with it cuz I liked transformers, not even cuz I asked for it, but it became one of my fav games of all time just because of how much effort was put into this game, it's honestly amazing how hard they tried.
The video game made Armada Megatron as powerful as he looked and I like that. He was strong in the show too but nothing like this... He can tank hits like they're nothing, completely overpower you if you get too close to him and can turn the arena into a compete war zone with all his firepower. I remember it taking me months to beat this guy...

I mostly stayed away from the arena, took cover when he was in tank mode and then blasted him from a distance after he transformed again. Then the shield wasn´t necessary and I could carry heavier weapons. An awesome game I still enjoy playing on my old PS2.
this is so old comment but game nostalgia then saw comment about his tank mode.. When he went in tank mode I used to timing jump right when he shoots you jump and go to him jump on his tank mode. Then when he stopped shooting you just jump out from his "back" and run more far or he throws you million miles like rag doll... But he stop shooting and is like... wtf and start chase you ...and it was kinda funny. I like armada Megatron, but I was such bully when play against him did not even try kill it cause bullying was more fun and when learn his game movements he cannot even kill you.. My favorite transformers game and still have my orginal copy of it :)

@@AidenPearce19 Yeah, you can some funny moments with the rag doll physics, back when i use to play it i used Hailstorm on the amazon level to line my self up with a Decepticlone dropship to try and land on it to get a ride around the map, decently effective tactic coupled with Slipstream.

I dread playing this boss fight on commander difficulty one day. I remember playing this game on veteran difficulty and couldn’t count how many times he handed my ass to me! He was legitimately broken or beyond broken, almost has hard has jinpachi Mishima from tekken 5!

As a kid, I always thought this final boss fight was a total bullshit. It was just Megatron tossing you around like a rag doll and you had no chanse no matter what mini-con you had with you, and he was so fucking scary.
Clearly, I was wrong.
I’m all for a challenge, but I don’t think the mini-con overload feature was a necessity, (maybe it was for easy difficulty.) but not for harder difficulties, he used to whip my ass a lot on veteran (normal) difficulty, I even disabled mini-con overload and he still kicked my ass. Eventually I got to beating him but man it was a struggle.
My memories of this game have just popped into my head after all these years, rewatching all of the boss battles brought back so many great memories especially that 360 powerbomb lmfao, cyclonus giant swings you off the top of a fkng temple.
Because I was young I didn't appreciate the effort put into this game, it was ahead of its time. Amazing game.

When I first played this, I was hoping there would be a second phase with Megatron combining with Tidalwave. In the end I was both relieved and disappointed.

I never fought megatron in this game because whenever the intro cutscene for him would start, the game would crash.

When I played this as a kid I stumbled on a exploit to cheese this battle by going under the stage and using the air burst mini con to do damage through the stage below the boss without him being able to hit you

I remember playing this as a kid and the way i beat him was getting him to a pixel of health getting ragdolled thinking i died threw my controller(was a angry child because of this douche) then the impact made me transform and dashed into him and killed him with the impact

There was a safe spot off the platform where Megatron couldn't get you, but your electric blast could still get him. I know, lame way to win a Boss battle, lol.
This is the best TF video game I've played. Starcream's voice was awful, but the gameplay was so much fun.

I still remember I play this game TF:Armada I play on easy level but when come to final battle with Megatron, I totally fucked up I close my ps2 and then come back after 5 month with strategy even it's take 2 hours to fight Megatron 😂😂 Megatron too powerful
