- The boss fight against Starscream using Optimus Prime from "Transformers" for the PlayStation 2. This game can be extremely difficult later on, and frustrating at times, but it's a good game, and can be fun to play. :)

This game totally deserves a sequel or at least an HD release on PSN, this is like one of the best Transformers game made
It is the best
I agree, -sighs- shame that game didn’t let you play as other transformers, Or even let you play around with the star saber, Skyboom shield, Or the requiem blaster. Or even unlock skins or maybe, Just maybe unlock those three powerful weapons in commander difficulty or finding them in hard to find areas where you would need the mini-con shepherd for.
But it was still a fun game
It was a brilliant game.
If you wished to play the game on any difficulty higher than easy, you made a mistake.
Meowium99 I played on ‘Veteran’ last year. I still have nightmares... I started ‘Commander’ last week and I just gave up at Starscream lol

Cole Jenkins sound like its from Batman Beyond.
I get a metal gear solid feel from it haha
Imagine being like 7 years old and after the first world was mostly regular mobs and you suffering through Antarctica avoiding seeker drones like the plague and getting ganged up by enemy patrols and heavy units, you finally reach the camp and out comes Starscream and first thing he does is rush the fuck out of you, shooting you, and hitting you from the air.
That was me when I first played the game and I was just overwhelmed by it all. I was young, but I'm kinda ashamed to say it too me 6 months to beat this guy, but once I did, hoo boy, was that a gaming high for me.
It took me awhile to beat him too
I’m noticing a lot of affinity between Starscream and the Arctic. In G1, that’s where he lost sight of his exploration partner, Skyfire. In _Animated,_ that’s where he rebuilt and enlisted Blitzwing and Lugnut. In _Prime,_ he attempted to finish off Optimus while he was defending a polar ice cap... then later retrieved a Cybertronian relic unearthed in the frozen tundra.
And two of those shows came _after_ this.
Also in the first movie tie video game, he fights Ironhide.
I was always so jelly that Starscream could fly...

They should of included Jetfire in the game.

@@luckyexplorer1053 if I recall correctly, I believe they were going to add Jetfire, but realised that being able to fly would mean being able to, essentially, skip the level entirely, so they scrapped him

The way the game.The graphics is amazing even in ps2.This need to be remasterd in ps3 or ps4
It would be neat to have a Decepticon campaign as well.

"prepare for extermination" is a nice little throwback the the 1986 movie
Starscream.had the most badass cutscene in the whole game,and has an awesome theme for him,especially Cyclonus' theme
and i can agree Starscream was difficult to fight,especially when you reface him again when he got an upgrade.but he was still fun to face against him and especially listening to his theme

I remember being stuck on this level for ages, I think it took me a few years because I was so frustrated I just kept putting it down and not playing for months. Maybe it was because I always used Hot Shot cause I liked him most. I can remember doing it in the end though

Clearly not on the hardest difficulty. You cant get away with backing into walls like that. He cuts you to pieces. He also flys more often and the missles hit way harder. After this boss the game gets way easier
this boss took really long and was pretty difficult but then tidal wave's difficulty was insanity itt took 2 times to beat him with comeback and

The trick is to walk into that barn and he'll follow you. And as long as he's in there he won't transform
the war for cybertron starscream is good. but this is better

Bro I was talking with a friend about old games and recalled this fight. I totally forgot how HOT Starscream comes at you right out the gate in the beginning. No f*ckin around just crosses your ankles and beats the sh*t out of you.
Why couldn’t they get Michael Dobson to voice Starscream in this game?
Different studios. Just about everyone save for Megatron and Optimus voiced their cartoon counterparts

I always had a question , when you got the minicon after cyclonus fight (flak cannon ) that deals alot of damage in aerial objetives that damage boost applies on starcream or not ?
It makes no sense for it to NOT work.

hahahahhahahaha. YOU SCRUBS TALKING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO FLY. i figured out a way to fly like starscream with the glider. you have to land on a dropship and then once you land on the dropship you speed boost off of it in the direction you wamt to go then RAPIDLY open and close your wings pver and over again. this will make you go really fast, and be able to fly without landing
I'm glad I'm not the only one who knew this trick.
Well, now we know how this game stayed under the radar. By being ten pounds of bullshit in a five pound bag. Screw this waste of time.
