Dance Gavin Dance - Lemon Meringue Tie (Bass Cover)

Not to overreact but this song changed my life.
I still struggle string switching with a pick but I have made some great progress. Starting to not think about alternate picking so much and it's becoming something natural and unconscious and I'm getting better not to cutting the notes short so it's a continuous string of notes rather than stop then cut the note short to be ready for to play the next string. Having it be continuous has been one of the more challenging things for me to do and it's why I prefer playing with my fingers, but I don't want to not put effort into doing stuff like that because it's a building block when it comes to playing faster and I don't want to slack off doing string switching cleanly, and then have to tighten that up while also building up other skills like palm muting and hammer ons and pull offs when I haven't really had to do that yet so far. Especially learning songs from this band.
