Popping a (greater) shadow protection potion before tanking Baron Rivendare is a good idea, as long as you wait the potion cooldown before starting the fight. While soaking the passive shadow damage from his aura is helpful, the intent is to have a buffer against mortal strike + shadow bolt combo. Both can hit for 1k+ and having a shadow absorb means you'll survive long enough for the heal to land in case of a crit.

That druid was gaming big time. Love a utility tank popping heals and useful spells in a panic. Some big brainwaves going down.
I reported Hozi and his fanboys today in the harpies area for being complete deeks. Very glad to see he ate dirt once again. Dragging 30 mobs around was griefing everyone else questing in that little pocket of death and he deserved the karma that came calling!
The amount of people losing to just the leveling challenge
The leveling and 5 man dungeons are the most fun you can have in the game.

The OTK tourney brought everything to hardcore that the hardcore folks said they were against.

tanking baron rivendare in the center of the room will almost always get you killed
What does that have to do with it?
Paladin barely spent any mana. He should be spamming rank 1/max rank flash of light to keep him topped up (even more so since tank had no stam and no buff)
Then he should divine favor into holy light for when tank get -50% heals due to mortal strike. You can see that tank spent 8 seconds around 50% health and dipping. That was a big crit heal angle, not a spam flash of light angle.
To me you can say that it's tank fault for bad gear and no shield wall. But paladin didn't play well too.
@@Vevemusic maybe so, but keeping that unholy aura in range of your healer is always a bad play considering they’ll get spell kickback.
@@dagotrejo1644 Idk man, tank is about to lose Mortal debuff and heal isn't even precasting Holy light, but instead trying to be mana efficient with a tank on 30% HP. Also he could literlaly just walk back 3 steps and be out of range. It's just a bad healer, simple as it gets.
Thats why I wouldnt care to Tank in HC, you rely too much on others to keep you alive.

I am the warrior at 8:36. I tanked Baron two times before the same day and didnt have any problems. Should have pressed shield wall but didnt expect at all to get so low so thats why i panicked
yeah I've tanked it on a fresh as well before he hits really hard and has mortal strike but i think your paladin was downranking to conserve mana I feel like he should have just bombed heals and used manapots for safety on hardcore

Hey whoever made the title, being genuine just in case it isn't your first language or whatever but 'loosing' is incorrect, it instead means 'loose' as in "the knot is loose". Losing is the correct word.
How do you reach lvl 57, just to run through a city with guards (sure its reasonable to think it migh be low lvl guards) but you also run with your back against them the whole time, straight into daze city. Before reaching lvl 20 most people learn how to strafe run / jump away from mobs
he is missing most of druid forms too, so that means he didn't do any classquests , going bear would have saved him too

When you die with a Heart of Elune in your bag, you get one extra for the next run. Most people dont know that. Bloody noobs
In the first clip, you gotta nuke the archmage first or sheep him, and kite back the other 2. Charge in , Nova from mage/stuns/slows, walk back if archmage isn't dead so u dont explode with his x2-4 aoe attack, kite it out - skull on archmage always. They just targeted wrong mobs and there was no1 trying to control the situation!

Around 90% of Strat Live deaths I see come from bad pulls in the Scarlet bastion area, you CANNOT fuck up a single pull there, people should know what they're getting into when they decide to do Strat live.

A lot of these deaths youre recapping arent people in the tourny. i believe they have to have specific letters at the end of their names. Druid running thru town and dying was over a month ago.
