really love how the quilt turned out :-)! How does Charlie do in the heat? Your haircut looks great! I loathe going to the salon as well, which is why I just automatically set an appointment each time I go in...every 8-10 weeks like clockwork. Thanks for sharing your life! It's inspiring! I finally have a sewing room, and seeing yours reminded me that I want to do a design wall!!! Yay!!!

Charlie manages in the heat. We have plenty of shade and buckets of water for him all over our backyard. Usually when it is hot, we'll bring him inside in the afternoon when the heat is at it's worst so he can cool down on our tile floor in the air con. He loves it because he then gets a double helping of cuddles and pats!

Love your hair! I really enjoy true crime podcasts and my favourite is actually an Australian one called Casefile, it’s fantastic. I know you said you’re not into crime but if you fancy trying one then that’s definitely one to try. xx

Doesn't this humidity just suck !! I can't understand people who go on holiday to the tropics ! The Quilt looks great I brought a Hera marker a few years ago and had never used it till recently OH MY GOODNESS what a revelation so easy to use and it actually works. I wouldn't of thought of using a different shade of neutral for the binding but it looks so good. I put my rod pocket on with my binding by machine then I just have to hand sew on the bottom bit If that makes sense.
Hera Markers are THE. BEST! I literally couldn't quilt without it! :)

Your quilt is beautiful as is your new hair cut! Griefcast is a brilliant podcast, sounds depressing as it is about grief but it is really interesting as comedians are interviewedabout their experience of grief. All the best

Hi from an American in Ireland! The quilt looks awesome! What stitch length do you use for quilting?
Hello! The stitch length I used on my QAL quilt was 3.5 to 4. I find that the machine feeds the quilt through quicker and easier when the stitch length is set longer than the usual 2.5.

If you enjoy comedy, I love the podcast Grownups Read Things They Wrote As Kids. Most of them are highly entertaining, though you do get the odd piece of darker writing. But it's really interesting to hear the perspective of some of the readers between now and when they wrote their piece.

I recommend NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast. And, depending on your sensibilities, a very funny fun podcast is My Dad Wrote a Porno. Love your channel (I’ve been a longtime viewer even though I’m a terribly lazy commenter).
