Hahaha...ikr? I rearranged my wardrobe as well, when it was 24*C in Cologne last week. This Monday I got caught in a mini snowstorm, when out hiking. What the heck??
The weather was super strange these last days! 4 seasons in 1 day, multiple times! Rain, sun, hail, sun, snow, wind, in random order every couple half hours. Strange strange...
This was oddly satisfying to watch. Lately I've been really enjoying taking care of my clothes. I enjoy those laid-back tasks like what you are doing in this video. I feel like taking care of your clothes by mending, altering and ironing is very grounding. It has become part of my "me time".
That green moss dress is everything! I feel it's so wearable from fall to spring. The cherry dress needs to either go or deconstruct it and incorporate it into your "now" style. You've always seem hesitant to discard it and that's a sign of attachment and nostalgia, maybe you're meant to do something fun with it for the summer.
Always makes me smile watching your videos - you have such a friendly face and happy personality on camera. I can't wait for more Spring so I can flounce around in dresses !
As a Canadian, I feel this so hard. I typically keep most of my sweaters and warm clothes out until mid-May, cuz that's how long it takes to be truly warm!!! 😂 Spring means a lot of easily layered items, for quick removal for the mid-day temperature spike!
I'm in Southern California. What even are seasons? :D I only have a couple of items that really scream "autumn" and feel weird to wear in spring or summer, but not because of the weather. Honestly the novelty of seasonal wardrobes is super appealing.
Aussie here - agreed. Europeans are so entertaining with there seasonal wardrobes. Its so cute watching them get excited for different clothes and doing things they can only do in that season. Its like watching cute children get all excited for easter bunny or santa claus 😂💖 for aussies the equivalent is probably getting excited for rain... even if its a cyclone where like YES come here! Hahaha
For me it's the opposite way, I wear clothes that other people may consider as summer clothing in the winter and I live in Finland but layering is the key to stay warm
I feel you on the cherry dress, I got rid of my more pinup-y dresses as well after a time of gradually getting more into all those cottagecore colours and styles!
I feel so guilty for letting it go as I've hardly worn it and it was a big purchase at the time 😭 But I've got to be honest, no room for things I don't wear!
@@Loepsie same. I let go of my favourite blue and white polka dot dress that was my the joy of my wardrobe even though I hardly ever wore it. I hope the girl that bought it from me wears it lots!
Lucy, I just love watching your change of seasons videos. You are so diligent each season. I also like how you purge your wardrobe. That is something that is so difficult for me to do. I believe that you have inspired me to be more ruthless. :-)
She said 37c (98.6F)??? She must have said 27C (or 80F)? I live in Romania, and we rarely get 34C (93F) in summer (july/august). We'd be completely melted at 37C LOL Holland is a bit higher than Romania if i'm not mistaken, therefore temperatures there would be a bit lower (if I'm correct).
I believe I said 21, haha! 37 is watering plants twice daily, full force aircon, bikini and flip flops weather. 21 is pleasantly warm. But yes, all of that is Celcius 😉
I think I must be weird. Cause I wear most of my clothes year round. Only coats and heavy sweaters get unused. And tights or leggings. But then I wear dresses most of the time.
I'm sure many, if not most, people do that :) A fairly large chunk of my wardrobe is wearable year round too, but the strictly seasonal items wouldn't fit in all at once 🙈
I did this on Tuesday as, also, the weather was absurdly hot and I won’t have the time during the next two months. Cue it getting super cloudy that day and it has been going on all week 😅 I was told maybe I should’ve pulled out of storage my rain coats. I think I still have one, I’ll put in the rotation. Love this closet change or refresh type of videos!
Love how the cc translated "autumn-winter pieces" into "awesome pizza" ...but yes you were definitely too early and Dutch weather has punished you for your sins! 🥶
That plain tshirt seems good for lounging.. Btw I made the same mistake last month. I even stored away my heavier duvet and then it rained so bad, I had to get it out at midnight 🤭
i really enjoy this type of content. but i suggest not putting away the grey t-shirt! this is such a basic essential item and not taking away any room!
I'm SO GLAD that there are other women who DO NOT like to wear clothes that AREN'T more MODEST. I PERSONALLY hate wearing stuff like... Low cut tops that show way too much, Short shorts like booty shorts where half ur butt hangs out, Skirts or dresses that are ABOVE the knee, Strapless stuff, See-through clothes, Bras as tops, Jeans with holes in the butt that are huge, Super skin tight/body hugging items, Bikinis...especially tiny skimpy ones, Spaghetti straps(most the time). I just don't feel comfortable in those clothes... I wanna feel like I can do anything or sit any way WITHOUT having body parts popping out. I know many women purposely wear clothes to have body parts pop out...like wear "shorts" that are more like undies. Or 100% see through tops with no bra. BUT I just CANT do that. I mean...I'm not shy, if I HAD TO be nude in front of 1,000 people I could easy... BUT I CHOOSE not to, I CHOOSE to be more modest. The MOST I show is like a bit of my tummy/ribs area in a crop top and high waisted pants. Or wearing a tee shirt with no bra. I don't always wear bras, cause I hate them, the ONLY bras I wear are bralettes. And the shortest skirts and dresses I wear are right below my knee, and even then I wear shorts under them. I 100% think modestly SHOULD be common. Not like crazy modesty...just some. It may partly be because I'm a 30yo mama of a son...and I wanna be a good example for him. But also cause I think more modest clothes LOOK BETTER...on not just me but EVERYONE. SURE non modest clothes LOOK cool and sexy sometimes... However...I am someone that fully believes in keeping some things for the imagination. People can dress how they want...I just wish modesty would become the new popular thing.
I agree on the need for more modest clothing. I think of my clothing as my armour, protecting me. Not find clothing that is at least touching my knees feels like an impossible task sometimes.
Cue it literally SNOWING two days later 😂🤷♀️
Hahaha...ikr?
I rearranged my wardrobe as well, when it was 24*C in Cologne last week. This Monday I got caught in a mini snowstorm, when out hiking.
What the heck??
Same in the Czechia 🤦🏼♀️
Same in NE Italy, it went from 18 degrees to 6. Last night was -2.
Welcome to the Netherlands

I've had that "yes, winter is finally over!"-moment four times already this year 😅
You should take a pattern of the cherry dress and make a version of it with fabric you'll wear!
The cherry-dress was ob the maybe-pile I think 3 times now... and I remember you said, if you put it on a maybe-pile again, it has to go 😂
Hahahaha I finally did it!

Girl NO it's so annoying needing four different wardrobes and transition pieces 😔😔 it takes up so much room

In the past week it has been snowing in the Netherlands and in Ireland too! Stay cozy🌸
😂 Moving on to sunnier days again though!
Your organization is ✨ *chef's kiss* ✨
I'll wear winter clothes in the dead of summer not because I'm cold, I'm too lazy to pack away winter clothes
Hahaha thank you!

This whole video is so zen and delightful to watch! Perfect morning, curled-up-on-the-couch-with-morning-tea viewing!
i love that moss green cottage core dress! (comment for the algorithm)
Oh god yes! I've been wanting to switch my wardrobes for a while, but luckily I didn't yet, seeing as it snowed here too 😖
Hearing the temps is always funny.
Lucy: 37 degrees...
Me, ah, yes, freez
Lucy: warm

Not weird at all! I’m the same way! :) many clothing items can be adapted for all seasons.
It's already over 35 where I live. Summer is here for us. I enjoyed the video so much!! These videos are so relaxing to watch really.
Ohh, I'm jealous!

YES, OLIVE/KHAKI/MOSS GREEN! When you made that green cottagecore dress, I immediately thought that was Your Color.
Right?! 😄

Very relaxing content to watch while doing some floral spring embroidery 🌼
Biggest fan since your heatless curls video(I believe 8 years back) ❤️sending love from India✨
I was searching help for my bangs and I find you !!! New subscriber from Greece 🙂♥️
Aww! That cherry dress! 😍
I am living for the dress you have on so much! Would you share where it's from? love you!
It's from Mango, but I've had it for years
Hahahahaha, yeah I made the same mistake, and then we get more snow in the Netherlands than we got all winter!
April doet wat hij wil! 😂
The dress you are wearing is gorgeous! And I'm glad you're moving the cherry dress on, I feel like you've never loved it lol
I just did this, I always forget what I get rid of so it’s not that hard 😂
Spring has come and gone. We are already at 100 F/ 37 C and only getting warmer. I already made the wardrobe switch last weekend 😭
You've inspired me to do the same this weekend!

I like how tossled so do your hair
love your thick eyeliner! :)
That plain tshirt seems good for lounging..
Btw I made the same mistake last month. I even stored away my heavier duvet and then it rained so bad, I had to get it out at midnight 🤭
7 degrees is warm enough to constitute spring!

It's from Mango, but I've had it for years :)
