Evening folks! I'm a bit late with the old pinned comment tonight...Bit hectic right now, preparing for the Christmas mini-series amongst other things! Tonight's video has a slightly different vibe. People often ask me to do a 'buffet busting' challenge, but they're often difficult to film as a one-man-band, with all the sitting and standing haha!
I saw this leaderboard style challenge at One Plus Chinese Restaurant, and as soon as I realised the food was on a conveyor belt, I jumped at the chance to try and take top spot!
Let me know if you enjoyed the video, or if you didn't, right down there in the comments, and I hope you can join me again this Sunday at 7pm GMT!

I'm a big bloke and managed about 14/15 plates, so 38 is really impressive! You definitely should have made more of the custom dipping sauces - they were my favourite part 😃

I love Chinese hot pot. I've only had it twice. I just found a buffet around 10 minutes from my apartment called The Homey Hot Pot Buffet, and I love them. The buffet is only $12, but the buffet with unlimited hot pot is $24, and it is worth every cent. I just grab all types of meats and vegetables for my hot pot. I love the shrimp, squid, octopus, clams, mussels, and beef with mushrooms and a lot of other vegetables. Everything that I have tried in the hot pot was good. I might go tomorrow. I was on a date the first time I went last month, and they were so good I went back by myself the next week. I'm craving the hot pot and some sushi rolls so I definitely night go back tomorrow.

  • @vagrantastronaut

Great to see you give hot pot ago even if you didn't know what was going on, must've been mildly frustrating lol. Gave me serious anxiety when the soup didn't boil and meat was put into it though 😂
The 'soggy frittatas' were deep fried tofu skin; it's good when it's boiled and soaks up the broth! Don't recommend them for an oilier broth like ma la (numbing spice); since it floats on the surface, all it'll soak up then is the oil and become an oil sponge.
