At least they still make fan games downloadable from other websites after they are taken down, like Super Mario Bros. X, a fan game taken down on the official website but downloadable on other websites.
I remember when I first found out this was a fan-made game, I was kinda disappointed because I probably couldn’t play it because I don’t have an SD card or anything, and I really love it. Like, it’s amazing how someone does this. I even asked my mom if we could go to GameStop and buy it because it looks so realistic!
@@KidPrarchord95 it is 100% a hack. The game had to be hacked to make this mod. It is essentially a hack, although these games were printed on discs and not 'ROM' cartridges that doesn't make this mod any less of a hack.
What my question is that why Nintendo never bought off this mod and made it into an actual game. IMO, it's better than almost every official Mario game I've ever seen, and I've seen a LOT; even those where Mario is shown as a decoration, like in the Kirby series: When Kirby uses his Stone ability, two of the forms that he takes are a Mario statue (from the older games) and a brick block (from the more recent games)
I honestly can't even remember. I didn't download it though. I ripped my copy of NSMBWii and patched the changes manually using some tools. I can't even remember the names of the tools I used though.
it will never be offical game because nintendo would rather destroy all evidence of it existing and sue the entire team for their life savings. theyve always hated games about their games, same goes for rom hacks and offsite replicas (that one Roblox pokemon copy that got taken down in 2016). they claim its for protecting their ips but in reality theyre just too scared to let anyone else have a chance at being successful because then that derives them of a few pretty pennies

Whoever composed the music for 6:14 did it. They absolutely did it. They brought back Mario Party 9 memories. Super Mario Party for the Switch is great, but damn, MP9 was my childhood.
i disagree, it’s really underwhelming, and doesnt fit the mario and bowser dynamic very well. it’s creative and kinda cool but it’s nowhere near as good as the original game’s boss fight imo

You need to install home brew on the virtual Wii which involved having a super smash bros brawl disk which I don’t have so I did it the long way. I got home brew working on the browser on the Wii U and imported the files needed to install home brew for the Virtual Wii. After that I opened me maker and it installed home brew and put Newer on an SD card and it worked

I love how the bosses in the towers/castles are custom(ish) and not just the koopalings while the koopalings are bosses for the airships at the end of each world.

This is still such a WONDERFUL rom hack! The music and remixes are great too, such as the Intro, Mario party 9 theme, Yohsis Island theme underwater theme, Castle theme, World 3 level theme, Japan theme, Airship theme, DK pass, Cool Cool mountain, pumpkin yard theme, space theme, tanks theme, and Partners in time theme, those are just my FAVORITES! Plus the hammer powerup is really nice, the shop, and the bosses are amazing!!!

Its one of the few Bonus worlds not to have a castle nor at least 5 levels, probably because it wasn’t a very “elaborate” theme as a bridge by a canyon, but newer team is planning on creating an extended version in the Plus port.

What my question is that why Nintendo never bought off this mod and made it into an actual game. IMO, it's better than almost every official Mario game I've ever seen, and I've seen a LOT; even those where Mario is shown as a decoration, like in the Kirby series: When Kirby uses his Stone ability, two of the forms that he takes are a Mario statue (from the older games) and a brick block (from the more recent games)

it will never be offical game because nintendo would rather destroy all evidence of it existing and sue the entire team for their life savings. theyve always hated games about their games, same goes for rom hacks and offsite replicas (that one Roblox pokemon copy that got taken down in 2016). they claim its for protecting their ips but in reality theyre just too scared to let anyone else have a chance at being successful because then that derives them of a few pretty pennies

You need to install home brew on the virtual Wii which involved having a super smash bros brawl disk which I don’t have so I did it the long way. I got home brew working on the browser on the Wii U and imported the files needed to install home brew for the Virtual Wii. After that I opened me maker and it installed home brew and put Newer on an SD card and it worked

The music and remixes are great too, such as the Intro, Mario party 9 theme, Yohsis Island theme underwater theme, Castle theme, World 3 level theme, Japan theme, Airship theme, DK pass, Cool Cool mountain, pumpkin yard theme, space theme, tanks theme, and Partners in time theme, those are just my FAVORITES! Plus the hammer powerup is really nice, the shop, and the bosses are amazing!!!

Why Does World E Only Have 3 Levels?
Because it's the most rushed World
Its one of the few Bonus worlds not to have a castle nor at least 5 levels, probably because it wasn’t a very “elaborate” theme as a bridge by a canyon, but newer team is planning on creating an extended version in the Plus port.
