I bet a whole generation of older people are like Dammit!! Now that ancestryDNA exists, whole entire families are facing some uncomfortable truths.
And it's a scam. My family took tests and know for a fact these people are directly birthed from these people. Took tests and came back unmatched. It's a scam. They're out here ruining folks lives for a lil money smmfh
I just found out that my uncle was seriously depressed when I was growing up, he wouldn't open the door to anyone but me, then my mum would barge in and stuff, this was from the age of 5 till 16 then he found love.

Ok that out the way. My mother had a baby at 15 and was forced to give him up. Her stepmother sent her away until after the baby was born so that no one would know. I have a 56 yr old half brother somewhere in the world who probably doesn't even know he was adopted.
Found out after my brother and girlfriend were murdered that they had a kid they adopted out.. at the time we found out she was 4.. have you.. my mom and I are taking care of their older two and they knew (7/5).. never said anything.. it was an open adoption.. the parents found out they were killed from googling them after not hearing from them for two months.. saw the news article with my mom and reached out to her on Facebook.. she’s now 8.. and we keep in contact and they visit ❤️ (there’s much more to this story tho)
Moral of the story: y’all need to stop taking these damn ancestry kits- lol, you all were minding your business living a good life before you all found out this stuff 😅
This is one reason I'm scared off I love my parents to pieces and I want to stay under the impression they're my biological parents. Now on one hand my father would never do such a DNA Test and my mother probably gave up on finding out the real shat her parents went through I mean there is a reason they took all of that to the grave too , right? But then sometimes you also want to know how horrible and which theorey might be the closest to realitiy.

My dad died when I was 36. When I get to the ICU they tell me my sister just left. My only sister was in California at the time. My parents were married but estranged. At the funeral my sister (29), brother (26) and I found out my father had another whole family with a woman younger than me and two toddlers. WTF!

In the 70s my younger brother and I went to a Christian camp, met other kids start talking, ask this boy who his parents are ge says our fathers name, goes home tells dad, 2 days later dad shows up and starts taking us every weekend. Dad has 9 kids to 5 different women. 2 are sisters my mum and aunt. My cousins also my sisters. Wtf.

While updating the family tree my now deceased dad tells me he has another chil in Germany in which he got another woman pregnant while married to my mom so I have a half sister somewhere. No one in family knew until he told me I told everyone.

My grandmother on my dad’s side my dad’s dad died of cancer a week or so before Christmas and his family didn’t like my grandmother so they basically claimed she poisoned him and disowned her and broke ties with her and my dad and aunt so I’ve got a whole side of my family I know nothing about I’ve even taken a test and they haven’t shown up at all so there’s family I don’t even know about so
