Was a good listen to be sure =) While I like myself the occasional open-world, rouge-like, souls-like, and looter shooter, even I get sick of all that hitting me like an avalanche; so I hope Evil West, along with others of it's type, can help bring back the single player experience of just playing a good old fun game
This level took me 2 hours on evil. I lost my new game plus somehow, and I didn’t get the achievement for evil… sad I have to go through it all again but I know I’ll be better.
In case anyone encounters the same bug I did where the game doesn't let you sprint randomly, you can still mash dodge forward to avoid her big ground pound from the ceiling.
Me and my brother are currently going through on evil difficulty and it's absurd. The enemies health scale with the both of us. So much so that one of us can use our super, shotgun, bomb, holy cross and combo and you're lucky if their health drops to a little under half.
I actually like the unique take on vampires. Even if some enemies weren't technically vampires in the traditional since, there is more than enough monster variety.
For the last part, it’s meant to be slow. You can only do noticeable damage after she does a whole screen unblockable wave attack. This is what you do. Do everything as the video mentioned. But for the part where she throws 6 pieces of firewood toward you. You are suppose to block. You need to unlock the projectile block perk. You block 5 and the. Shoot the 6th throw when weak point shows up. 50% of the time she will go into her ultimate attack. DO NOT use cross on her, go hide behind the big debris. Her ultimate attack will destroy all debris. And you won’t be damaged since you hid behind one. Now she’s exhausted after using her ultimate attack. You can now PUNCH her head to initiate the special sequence. After the sequence, the whole cycle will repeat. Your goal is to let her use about 5 ultimate attacks, and initiate 5 special punching sequence. Then you would have beat her. Good luck!
I am on my 2nd playthrough and on evil difficulty at final boss phase 3, and by watching this i just realized i can do ranged attacks on berserk mode lol 🙈
Sad to hear about the Mortal Shell devs. I really love that game and have a lot of respect for their team. So i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Still, it's not a pleasant experience, and they should've been more attentive to something as unique as what you describe. Having that said, maybe they did read your note - then got pissed off and created the Eternal Narthex. After all, the bosses are not hard in that game, but killing EVERYONE in the Narthex level - now that is not easy to accomplish, even for an expert player. I've never seen that done. Something almost always goes wrong at some point and it's back to Sis Jenny...so peeps usually run with tail between legs to get the hell outta there. But it's an excellent challenge, which i love attempting multiple times as a personal mini-game on NG+. And now it's time for me to go back to the school of Evil West 🙃I did learn a lot!

I made my evil run extra hard had i knew that adrenaline junkie would be a benefit and not applying very very frightening upgrade would help me get more supercharge the first area is truly a pain. But i got past it through grit swearing and a whole lot of adrenaline lol
Imho the flamethrower had the potencial to be the gamebreaking weapon but they did it's perks wrong. Imagine if it has "15-20% more damage on flaming enemies" instead of "30% melee damage on flaming enemies" which maybe is useful (I don't know if they stacks) before a overcharge use. It's a channel weapon who doesnt give u any return on using it because little moster are there to be smashed on biggest guys, so no use on make them burn to death and biggest enemies on fire get low damage and are no way to be punched and if u have to use a channel weapon it worth more using the gatling gun which at least with it's perks keeps invulnerable while using it.
Im at the start of this mission on evil and i find its definitely the hardest fight yet the no checkpoint is BRUTALLL

You got the Felicity fight spot on. It's just a slow fight where you have to wait for her to do her thing then she's toast

Nope, you can beat them faster on easier difficulties.

They must have nerfed it because my damage does not do as much as you do probably 1/2 with the super move. Damn it.

When I did this an enemy glitched out of the map so I had to restart the entire Mission
