I remember a time when he said he doesn't think he's even close to being considered the king of Photoshop, but I think that something no one can deny is that he's getting closer and closer to that
If you wanted to keep pushing yourself in this way, you could make this a monthly or quarterly segment: where you spend 24 hours making a new image. Maybe even let the fans pick the topic or suggest details, something like that. Increase engagement and allow you to keep challenging yourself.
I completely agree. Speaking of which, if he takes to this idea, I would love to see an underground theme because there’s so much that Benny can incorporate with that environment. Maybe even some monsters like in The Descent. Love the work Benny
This is awesome. I think that if you did a 100 hour edit, it would have to have to be massive with a lot of different stories in the same image. Like looking into a fantasy world, where in one area, a knight is fighting a dragon, and in another, a princess is relaxing in a courtyard... Etc.
I just want to say in your respect , we are watching master of this work. It looks like someone just downloaded random picture from Google but goosebumps are here when you knew that is created by a single person. Thats amazing.
Alright Benny, I have an idea. So as a design student I don't do a lot of concept art photoshop (although I absolutely love watching your videos) but there is a huge part of my process that I don't often see reflected in yours. In my design process, about 20% is research and ideation (similar to what you showcased in this video) but then we take it a couple steps further and keep pushing it to the next limit. We critique, revise, critique, and revise until the finished product is idiotproof (hopefully). Now, while this doesn't directly translate to a solo guy doing concept art, you still always have a reflection period at the end of your videos with insight into what you would've done better and why. In my opinion that is one of the main reasons you are such a talented artist and why you make such good youtube "content" - you're always critically assessing your work and pushing yourself to level up. I think the 100 hour video is a phenomenal idea, but I would aim to spend 100 hours on the final artwork in many different ways, not just on the photoshop part alone. I'd suggest you apply it to several artworks. Seeing how much time you spent (or forced yourself to spend) I would limit your artworks to 20 hours each. If I were you I would spend that 7-8 hours collecting assets, then also 2-6 hours planning a effective composition and fabricating a story to tell. You briefly touched on both of those in this video and I think they both could've benefitted from a more focused intent. Your final composition is great but it's also a fairly balanced, centered piece. And there are definitely pieces to a story here, but most of it is just guesswork and things that "look cool" as you mentioned. Now I wouldn't go writing a whole backstory, as you've done for other videos, but you really stand to gain a lot if you are more intentional with your direction. You even mentioned how you next artwork should be on a topic that has more details to add, and I think creating a storyline or giving yourself a more substantial prompt could be that spark of creativity. For example, here we see some cyborgs and a main human standing in a cool landscape with some stuff around them and more guys in the background. But what are they doing there? What if they're transporting a prisoner? Are they hunting someone that you can show hiding on the side of the composition? Are they from earth? A good chunk of that 100 hours could be spent deciding what other visual storytelling you can do. Plus, you're a youtuber so I think it's fair to assume when you make videos you do a lot of this already with the editing and all that. The 100 hour video could be a window into your whole process as a creative individual, not just as a photoshop guy. You do such an amazing job of reflecting on each piece and if you go with the 5 artworks 20 hours each idea I think it would be awesome to see an evolution from each piece to the next. You can talk about what you learned, why you made certain choices, and what eventually led you to the finished artwork. Anyway, sorry for the essay. Love the content bro keep it up
What a great photomontage Benny, I love the transformation of the elements, water to lava, and the soldiers are great, it reminded me of the movie Starship troopers
Nothing to say, Benny. Literally, nothing to say. We're Speechless. Your artworks cannot be appreciated through praise. Your artwork is worth a million ❤.
This is the first video I've ever watched from you and I just wanted to say how entertaining it was to watch and how incredible your finished artwork looks.
I’ve been watching your videos for 2 years right now, and for some reason this one made me much more excited than the others, and I would really really love if you make the 100 hours edit video, I know it is hard to do, but bro, it would be insane! 🔥
Yeah! I'm getting worried because I usually wait the whole month without accessing the channel and when I entered I would just make popcorn because the marathon was wonderful.
As a guy who does photoshop as an hobby, I can't explain how much I can relate to you. And seeing your works always awes me. Keep up the good work man.
Benny that was super insane the level of details on the objects and especially on the background was another worldly. There is a lot of your fans want the realistified series back with Ben-10 Aliens.....plz make it happen.
Ive watched you videos since just about the start of your channel and I dont know what it is about your style but you always have my attention i almost never skip a video you post keep up the good work man
In fact, you've spent 24h+ your entire life so far learning and practicing editing + compositing in photoshop, until you're able to do it at this level. Incredible work!
Honestly this would fit a loading screen of a game soooooo much! Just imagine a green loading bar at the mid-bottom yum. It's such an amazing artwork, one of my favourites so far.
I'm just wondering why the guns they're holding seem to have a rotating magazine like with a grenade launcher even though they have a constant supply of liquid from their backpacks? Seems kinda unnecessary to have a rotating magazine then. But thats just me
You are a literal inspiration BP! I work with photoshop every day and only learn more when I have time not more so when I want to. Your attention to detail, is amazing!
This was badass. You should totally do the 100 hour one and also make it along the the lines of the Star Wars Assembly Wallpaper so you can kill time putting insane detail.
It is really cool to see you work from scratch to something crazy. I really loved the concept of this video. I know it is a lot of work done, but in the end, it is a piece of art and passion. Let's make it a series.
I love ur videos too much and , I appreciate the time u have spent to make great video every time! Follow u from Egypt! And i hope if u can make pharaohs images will be soo cool
I am AMAZED by BENNY, people and their inspiration. I know for myself, I just can't find ideas such as he does. I am like the old DUDE, a house with windows, a dog next to it, couple of trees and sun in the background... MASTERPIECE.
Great video! During a gap between photo clients in 2021 I spent two weeks on a composite (a week scheming and shooting and a week in post). It was some of the most rewarding work I’ve done in the past 35 years. A single image, pushing my skills, for an audience of one.
This was awesome for future concepts of the 24 or even 100 hour, I’d suggest making whatever you want in a big packed city, that way you can spend a long time working on lots of individual details and if you make it partially destroyed you can spend a long time making everything in ruins.
Splendid as always For the 100 hundred hours edit I highly recommend mixing the top 100 movies of all time + 10 optional movies-characters I promise just the pre editing preparation takes up to 20 hours
OMG love your works. Your attention to detail and creativity are truly impressive. These videos are a great source of inspiration for anyone interested in digital art and design.
"It`s something REALLY different" - that`s what I was thinking the whole video until at the end Benny said exactly that 😅 Awesome work, super detailed, I`ve trully reached a higher level!

just make that 100 hour one of avenger's endgame scene all shot my you and this could take all character around 100 hours.

Nah 24 is good bro

You should make a abandoned circus/theme park. Add some scary things too. That would be way more work to make.
This is next level. The way you express yourself in your artwork is just outstanding

Guess what, before Ai, every picture was made by a person.😂
For benny, the challenge isn't the artwork or the amount of time. it's his creativity of not doing too much creative stuff so he could do it in time.
