Hi Chris,
Another very interesting show. I had a Claxtons Glentauchers 17YO about six years ago, which also came in one of those large square perfume type bottles. It was excellent as I recall.
The Orkney bottling certainly grabbed my attention. It sounds very different to the usual stuff from HP.
Looking forward to next week already.
Cheers!!
Phil
Hi Philip. Thanks for sharing!
Great review Chris !👌
Thank you!
Loved a similar BN Warehouse 1 - bourbon cask - 1996 25 year old from memory and a more reasonably priced (all relative) at £225. Linkwood is a really good solid malt that's achingly undersold by Diageo :( Port Charlotte is possibly my fav release/spirit from Bruichladdich - 14 year old sounds perfect :) Alas all the old PC has been and gone at Feis - Transparency and Heretic killed the last "first" barrels
Hi Ian. Thanks for your comments.
Really enhoy your channel, originaly found it because of your rum reviews. Now kind of getting into whisky because of you. I recently discovered a blending house called Turntable, they are big on the whole transperency thing with their blends which I love, comming from the rum World. Could you do an episode on their range? Kind regards.
Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment and I'm glad to be able to play a small part in your whisky journey. I'll look into them and see what happens.
