The problem is that the government does not drive them self, they are being driven in their Petrol limousines and then are telling people to use more public transport. Yes the drop in range was quite shocking, especially as it is already limited to 140.
@@mlasrb Nobody said that you should buy this car to drive daily on the Autobahn at top speed. This is a city car. I don't think it is any better to drive a Smart on a highway. For Autobahn driving there are other EVs like Tesla Model 3 or Audi Etron.
@@M_Andras still my point stands valid. EVs are not meant to be driven over 100 km/h as their battery levels plunges severely. And with extremely limited range arent worth the buy.
