That sounds great, like the really deep tone at start up. What would the axle back exhaust add to it in terms of sound?
It would prob sound better with a new axle back when the valves are opened
Thanks for the video! Any advice for install? I feel like with the old M2, I had some exhaust leak with the slip on clamps...do you use anything besides the included parts? Any lubricant/sealant on the joints, etc.?
Thanks for watching! Just make sure after a few heat cycles to retighten the clamps down!
Really appreciate the video guys. Deciding whether to put this and Dinan's axle back system on or the Miltek full exhaust. It was hard to tell during the video but was there a significant volume increase after the new midpipe was installed?
The midpipe defiantly opened it up more. If you did both the midpipe and axle back i'm sure it would sound great!
Given that this midpipe is downstream of the secondary cats I don't see an issue with either emmissions compliance or warranty with BMW. Was the sound worth it? Its hard to hear the dB difference on headphones. Worth the money?
Defiantly worth the money if you want a little more sound out of the car
How’s the drone, especially with cabin noise compared to stock. Definitely looking to open up the exhaust but also do enjoy listening to music.
No drone at all! Even with the valve opened its honestly great

Would you guys recommend an aftermarket crossover pipe alongside midpipe?
Yeah you could defiantly do that!
Did you use a special pipe cutter to cut the stainless exhaust?
Just a normal cutter
Does the m3/4 dinan xpipe fit the m2 for G series?
It may be a little different but it should

Is this midpipe road legal and pass emissions?
I beleive Dinan keeps the secondary cats so I believe it is legal unlike some other G87 midpipe offerings which do remove the secondary cat and of course both resonators which is why they are louder as well.

Those OEM resonators don't stop flow at all. At best I bet this nets out 1-2rwhp at the most. This is strictly for exhaust tone. Also, clean the wheels...
False. M2 comes out the factory super restricted. I’d say drive one first before commenting out ur ass.
