I switched from the lite to the OLED but the only reason why I did was because I wanted to be able to dock it. If the switch lite was able to be docked I would've kept it and I would've loved it even more than I do with the OLED because of just how it looks and feels
@WincTech I saw that, my son and my gf both have switch lite's. I've been playing with the idea of tinkering with my son's cuz he barely uses it anymore over his PS5 😅 lol
I'm going to be honest I just got my lite yesterday and it's absolutely worth it, nothing but smooth gameplay I played dark souls Witcher 3 and Celeste so far. The d pad is very comfortable and so are the joysticks. Since the screen is smaller the pixels will be sharper. I really don't get why people don't like this handheld if you want to try out a few Nintendo games and take something more portable to travel around. This is a start.
I want to add that internationally switch lites are expensive but cheaper than the original switch and the oled versión. Switches in my country cost 3800 dollars. I got the light for 1350 dollars this is a very good price. It can also work as an alternative until you save money to get a switch 2 or an ROG ally or steam deck.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! I hadn't owned a Nintendo console since the DSi so the Switch Lite was a great way for me to get into some of the newer Nintendo games
Im getting the v2 sold the lite cause the white buttons getting yellowish from over using yes i ate snacks I admit that im eating while playing the console so i decided next year get a v2 since its my other back up unit and the oled is my other home unit only they are both heavy but sure its great for a lite as for me im focusing to get the v2 which is more little pricy than the switch lite even for a hyrule version is a very hard pass
OMG WHAT GAME IS AT 4:55 I love shooting games so much but idk what to buy cuz I've been looking for games similar to CODM but I can't find any,, is a physical version of that game available?
It's overwatch 2, it's free and it doesn't have a physical release (the original overwatch game had it, but the sequel doesn't). Bear in mind this game doesn't play very well on the switch, it's much more enjoyable on pc, ps or xbox. Also, it's a hero shooter so it's different from cod, but you can try it out and see what you think.
@Dosia142 ohh I've heard of that game! Shucks I thought I could finally play some shooting games on the switch,, thanks anyway will be trying it out !!
Hi I just wanted to ask, im willing to buy a nintendo switch lite particularily because of its small size. I lwill mainly use it for portable purpose. Should i buy it or wait for the next nintendo console. Also just wanted to add, i am not looking for dock options to play games, i already have a playstation.
There are rumours that the Switch 2 will be announced soon, but it probably still won't come out until several months after. However, the Switch 2 will also likely go up in price so it's up to you whether you think it will be worth it. I would say if you are looking for portable use only and you are happy with its game library, the Switch Lite is still a great option, especially for the portability.
It’s a console from 2019 and is made with kids in mind. Thats why it’s only 200 dollaes it’s not made to be the best handheld console. If you want something that’s more powerful with a 1080 and more storage then a switch isn’t for you. A steam deck rog msi claw is more for what your looking for.
@@pimpnamedkane EXACTLY! Tysm omg some ppl really need to see that switch lite is designed to be LITE, that's why there's an OLED version stop comparing them bcs nintendo designed them to be different-- if the switch lite had the dock feature sales on the oled and the switch original wouldn't be as skyrocketed as much as now. It's business and variety, geez🤷♀
why would it have a 1080p display? most games from third party studios can't even manage 720p in handheld. they're anywhere between 430-540p with very few even managing 720p and most that do, are old games, not new games. I always roll my eyes at the "it needs xyz" arguments. no it doesn't. nintendo isn't a direct competitor to sony or microsoft and they're not trying to keep up with handheld PCs either. They do their own thing in their own corner. I'd argue what the switch 2 needs to do the most, is improve performance, not fidelity or resolution.
No way yall are complaining about 720 p when the screen is small as hell and 32 gigs is ENOUGH when all the games are like 5-10 gigs.
Im with you on the screen, the 32gbs argument is dumb as hell though
True 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Cheese-ho2ui how? You don't need like 20 games
@ in 2024 you should not have to constantly download and delete games for storage because it limits to 32gb. Thats ridiculous
@@Cheese-ho2ui I don't think you ever do

Yeah I like the size, it's so portable.
I love my Nintendo Switch OLED, but the switch lite is so portable and great to use tbh 😅
I agree! There's actually an OLED display mod out now for the Switch Lite which I'm thinking of getting

Where can I find those Nintendo figures, especially the clear Mario and the red shell?
I love the Switch Lite except for the very low volume

It’s so bad 720p
Even a oled has 720p switch lite has better pixel density than a v1 and v2 due to the smaller screen 😂
The fact that you only get 32 GB and it’s 720P just makes it so much worse it would be better if we got we got 1080 and just a lil bit more powerful

If its a 1080p games would run at 10fps 😂 thats what switch 2 is for but still love my hacked switch lite
