Got it from Art bar but it is also available in NBS and in some online shops!
I think for the price, it is really not bad. :)

I never meant to offend though. But, please do come back to painting again. it's therapeutic and beneficial specially in times like these.

Love your little paintings! Good thorough review. And can’t get enough of those birds! Do you live in an aviary, lol. Thank you. Keep doing these, we do learn a lot from you. Perhaps one of these days, you can clip out the part where you actually paint and slow it down and add a voiceover so we can tell what you did. Have you see Shibasaki tutorials, they are so educational. But you can make it your own unique landscape style, which I honestly love.

Yes, separate the part where you are actually painting, and then slow it down and add a voiceover so it is an actual tutorial of how you painted it. I would love to hear you show us how to did it, like a real tutorial. Since you already have all the videos, I thought it would be easy to add the voiceover. Anyway, just a thought, I’m sure you are super busy.
I forgot to ask, are art supplies less expensive in MAnila than US? Where is it best? I’m thinking of checking it out when I’m there next month. Thanks!

Thank you, Reana. I also love to wrap gifts and wrapping art materials doubles the satisfaction. 😆 Last Christmas, I hand painted (for some reason) my wrappers using recycled calendar and the cheapest paints I have. Haha

Yes, deovir and shopee. Search ka mabuti sa shopee or iba pang online shops. Ung jba, white nights pinapangalan nila sa sonnet tapos nilalagay nila sa tin container.

I was wondering why that set was way cheaper than the watercolor set that included a palette and a brush
That was the one Genelyn Sandaga reviewed, right? I guess they took advantage to add higher price because of the palette and fancy brush.. ☺️ Kaya itong set na Ito Rin pinili ko over the palette set.

Also the palette set has a flesh color instead of mauve and the tubes are made of metal. I wonder if there is a difference with the quality because there was no pigment separation
Meron akong set nyan for preparation if the cake set is good, but of course ano pa ba ieexpect mo sa student grade... Nagtataka lang ako dyan sa Faber Castell... Sikat naman yun brand nila lalo na sa colored pencil... Bakit di sila gumawa ng quality watercolors... German company pa naman sila na pwedeng ihanay sa Kremer, Schminckie, Da Vinci brush, Hans, Habico etc...
Totoo Yan. Tsaka sikat na sila di pa venture to making artist grade paints.. sa colored pencils, nagawa na nila eh. Sana sa paints din.
Sir could you please do a review of Meiliang /Pretty Excellent WC. They're manufactured by the same manufacturer of Paul Rubens (from what I've been reading). I think it would be interesting to see how they'd perform.

Yeah, may nag advise na nga sakin niyan noon. Makulit Lang ako. Hahaha. Gusto ko Rin talaga Makita initially Kung Sino ung Mga kulay na humihiwalay sa binder.

Yeah, their tubes are better than their cakes and to that faber in red case, i reviewed before. :)

Hello Sir, I'm torn between this Faber castell tubes and the china version of winsor and newton. Please help me I just want to try cheap watercolour tubes and I'm really torn between these two. Your answer is very crucial with my decision hahaha thank you po kung masagot niyo to. ❤️
I would go the China Version. They provided the pigment codes, so atleast we are sure what the used and that they used pigments not dyes. :)
Actually there is one more type of watercolor set available in the market . That is the 'Creative Studio Watercolors' set from faber castle , its quality is better than the watercolors you reviewed. I am confused which set should I buy😵...

There's not much difference to the performance and color intensity.. i feel that Pentel is tiny bit better.. but the price difference is huge too. 😉🎨🙏🏻

Anyone serious about pursuing art should just start with the Superior Watercolor Set of 12. The price difference is only 100 pesos for the set of 12 and 200 pesos for the set of 24.
Also Sir do you mind doing a review of the Himi Gouache? They're popping out all over RUclips and I sorta want a Pinoy perspective :)
Sir, if you review Himi gouache do you also mind to review their tube version of it? Almost every review is all about the jelly cup since it looked interesting. It would be also kind of nice to know if the tubes have the same quality, plus the tubes are half the price the jelly cup set.
I was as well impressed with the color intensity of Superior. I hope you saw my review of their 18colors. ☺️ Himi Gouache, I will have to double check. If they have watercolors that will be more matching to my channel. But let's see. Mura Lang Po ba un? Hehe
If they have tubes, I'd be more willing to get it than the cup sets because the cups get molds as I've seen in some reviews..
@@AllanJayQuesada Yes. Miya has watercolors as well and it also comes in tube form.. I only saw 12 and 18 colors for the tube though. I forgot how many the cakes have. There are two versions of the watercolor cakes. One set seemed kind of chalky (the container kind of looked orangey and the other violet) and the other seemed to be not chalky and comes out as a travel set.... also there's this shop that that sells the gouache 12 tubes or 18 tubes around prices 500+ php to 600+ php. ^_^
@@AllanJayQuesada The gouache is like 700 pesos for a set of 18 and the jelly cups are HUUUUGE like they will last for a loooot of painting sessions. And they also have watercolor na rin! But please skip on the Himi brushes. All reviews I've seen of them so far have been unanimous- their brushes stink.

You mentioned that those seem to be designed to attract kids - and that's what they're literally made for ^^' Anything packaged in red boxes like those is from their school supply line :D -those things are almost always okay-ish (in fact in most cases it's better than other school supplies brands and on the costlier side comparing to them), but a far cry from from their artist or intermediate stuff. They got coloured, watercolour and regular pencils, charcoal, india ink pens and liners in their more artist oriented supply lines, I wonder if they make actual watercolours there, too and if they'd perform better 🤔. I know that in many cases their products pretty well, though their expertise usually lies with pen -shaped supplies ^^.
Btw, that colour range looks an awful lot like a regularly regulated opaque watercolour set (believe it or not, if there's one stereotype that's true for Germany, it's that there's rules for almost anything here. And there's an actual norm for what colours [and pigments even maybe?] those have to contain ), minus the white which usually comes in additional tubes instead of pans and plus yellow green 😊
it's weird this particular comment of yours went held for review by YT. anyways, yes, because red is very attractive. haha. I have the higher grade watercolor of Faber Castel, the solids, and I rate them lower than this school paints. hahaha. bad texture for paints. But I love their colored pencils and just recently, I got the top fountain pen and I'm really loving it.
hahaha, maybe this was inspired by that idea. but this set has a white same size as the other as if it's really on similar importance..

Totally get you liking their school stuff - there really is some nice things that you get by simply buying from that school supply line :) and sometimes the "cheaper" stuff just fits our needs better, doesn't it? I - for an instance - am so used to my real cheap acrylic paints that I don't know how to work my way around with what are supposed to be better ones :)

i know it has been a year already pero para makuha ko yung paint sa tube i actually shake it first para mag even yung water sa loob😂 but thank you sa video.. im actually looking for this kind para malaman ko kng oanu ko gamitin yun watercolor cause parang acrylic siya kasi pag ako yung gunagamit😂
Yeah yeah. Sometimes i shake it minsan, i use needle. I just need to show it here na ganito ung paints. So you mean, medyo thick ka gumamit? Hehe. Ayos lang yan, magmumulkha siyang gouache, ibang medium na ok rin.

@@roevabayona4562 yes, don't quit. I just really learned the real watercolor approach in 2017 na. Before that, thick din ako gumamit, as if poster paints angw watercolor. Hehe

Hi, no theyre not chalky.. but they can turn to be opaque when applied thickly.. so beware. :)
