- Whenever we travel, we try to visit new places that we haven’t seen before. But there are some places I just really want to return to. Prague, Czechia (Czech Republic) is number one on that list. After living in the city in 2017, I return to Prague for the first time in 6 years. Join me on this trip down memory lane to a city that changed my life.

Your skills with camera and storytelling is extraordinary ❤
Your videos are full of heart and i love the narrative idea of this video. It makes it feel personal and special to me as well. Hoping to see more!!!
Love, love, love this video! Prague is in my top 3 favorite cities. Hopefully someday I can also say the word “life-changing” about Prague. ❤
Such great edits, compositions and dialog, thank you for creating this!
Beautiful video.
Thanks for showing us your Prague from back then and even better: your journey as a videographer. I like how you made this video so personal and included footage from back then!
I really enjoyed the view from Letná Park / Metronom last time I was there but looks like Vyšehrad is more exclusive!
What month of the year did you record this? Looks so nice! 🌸
PS: Great choice of music, as always.
Thank you so much! This was shot back in mid April. I was so surprised with all the 🌸 around the city and Petrin. It made the trip even more wonderful.
As a Prager I have to say this video is so much better than the other hundreds short films on RUclips about Prague. The art touch is so obvious, the pace, composition and the selection of scenes and details are so to the point, understanding and soothing.
Can only wish you further success.
LOVED this personal documentary, I'm such a big fan of all of your videos! I didn't know that trdnik is not Czech thing?! I kind of liked it when I ate it there haha.
Thanks Emma! Really glad you enjoyed this one especially. Hope you like the more personal videos.
I live in Prague and love trednik. Who cares if it isn't originally Czech? Neither is most food in Prague.
Prague always has a place in our hearts ❤Glad that we make this tour together
Absolutely beautiful video, and honestly this has really helped cement my desire to study abroad in this majestic city. Most other videos are more focused on the touristy parts, but this really gets at the soul of what makes this place so special to you ❤
Thank you! And yes, highly suggest studying abroad there!
Great video! Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Great video! I'm an American with Czech and Hungarian roots, always want to visit! Will be there next year with my daughter! Cheers from East Los Angeles!
Lovely countries, both Czechia and Hungary!
what a lovely LOVELY video, thank you!
Great video. Just spent a couple of days in Prague with my wife and kids. One correction. 14:45 is not a beaver, but nutria.
Beautiful city, and what a unique experience!
Thank you so much for telling your story. And what a beautiful shots of the city that I love as well. Prague is my escape from real life, it gives me a Zen moment. Going there 4 to 5 times a year. (The city speaks to me as well and I speak to the city as if it is a person).
Yes! It certainly gives a zen feeling
I love that city! I had lived there for 10 years before relocating to California and I miss it so much, I am actually moving back this year! ❤
That must be amazing. Happy for you! I would love a chance to live there again as well.
as a melancholic person Prague is my favourtie city in the world. I spent there a month in october- november listening to Cocteau Twins and The Cure.
I like your vlogs❤❤❤
Excellent video.
That Cafeteria! They only speak czech though so it's a bit hard for me to order the first time.
The other restaurants also trick American tourists into tipping a lot.
Also I remember there's an abandoned railroad that got turned into hiking trail NE of Prague.
It was a lot pointing at the food and practicing my near non-existent Czech, hoping they will understand 😂.
Hi, though I appreciate your love of my hometown, and your storyteling as well, I have to say, that you've missed a lot - there are architectural wonders all around the city, amazing parks, grandious views, beautiful quarters etc...
To truly experience the city's wonders, you would need to stay 2 weeks at least (without studying)..
If you'll ever be in Prague again, let me know, I can show you all the hidden gems - free of charge of course..
Just two things:
1)The name Local is a little bit of a wordplay. Because written in Czech Lokál is a pub - a place where you (take a) gulp - in Czech "lokat"
2) That´s not a beaver but muskrat 😁
awesome video as usual
Thank you Judy~
