This is what happened to me in January! I had a lot more free time and access to much better internet and not much to do. I grinded dota and went from divine to immortal in 4 weeks as well! I also spammed TA, but on mid instead of pos 1 and had a lot of impact by playing aggressive. I felt super focused in all those games and was making decisions way better than i normally did. And the results showed!
I haven't had the drive to play ranked since, and i'm waiting on the next patch for now hoping for a TA buff (even though i had amazing success with her) and maybe that will motivate me to grind up again.
Thank you for the videos as always!

grats on 9k! its litereally all in your head lol. I had to take a step back from carry for this reason lol. When I play mid I have a much easier time accepting defeat and only looking at myself, in fact i just realized its almost too much so, that I dont want to ask for help when I should. I am almost back at my record high mmr and plan to keep climbing!

Me too. By playing mid, I can always see my shortcomings. Also, as a pos 3 player, I understand better the timing to gank. As a result, even when I lose the laning phase, I can still win games by helping my other cores to succeed.

Its good I have found this channel as we are playing almost the same carry heroes lol. Also TA helped me to reach 5.6k as my main hero.

Something that might help with DD. During one of the previous battle passes where you had to predict the winner of a random ranked game (herald to immortal), I just counted stuns/hard CC and picked the team with the most. If it was a tie, I picked whoever had the strongest meta heroes. It predicted like 70% of matches correctly. I think if you just DD when you have a big CC advantage, you will win much more than you lose on your DD tokens.

I used to be around 4k+ but after a long break from Dota about 2-3 years I'm now absolute trash and have fallen to 2k. I'm hoping that your videos on mid and how to play the map will help me improve back to where I once was, but damn it's really impressive to be able to have climbed that much in such a competitive bracket. Thanks for your videos, your mid guide helped especially

You probably won't be much worse than you were back then. The trouble is, you've had a 2-3 year break and most of the other people haven't, so they've all improved and you have stayed the same.
      You'll improve too, trust me

Beside mentality, the other most important thing is the hero draft, you get better draft, you have 30% more chance to win the game, but the problem is how do you know you are the better draft?

I have queue anxiety as well... I can't play more than 2 ranked games a day...
It's really weird because I wasn't like this before, I used play like six, seven ranked games a day
Maybe my one year break from dota is the reason

some people are better at rerunning there mistakes in there head and learning from it inmatch and others benefit better from replays point is there isn't any very high mmr player that doesn't learn from his mistakes in an efficient way

Jokes on you, it takes all of my ability to just do my own stuff. Ax didn't get a blink all game? Never noticed till the game is over. Oh yeah, axe got a radiance and didn't get a blink, that is probably why we lost. Haha.

  • @ElevatedConcsiousness

Playing maximum of 5 heroes can be surely be effective but on the other hand if you only plqy 5 heroes alot of the times you get countered, I was focusing on playing PA and BOOM the enemy picks axe and bristle back. True that PA can break them with shard but I would say PA is a soft counter to BB and axe.

am a fan of ur vids and u have great content but lets be honest u cant apply that mentality in sea server. Ive played na east and west and I swear japan and sea servers are the worst:

    • @manifestdest8432
      @manifestdest8432 4 месяца назад +1

No offense intended, but your response seems to perpetuate the negative mentality being discussed. It reflects a victim mentality, where circumstances are blamed for failures instead of taking personal responsibility. If your perspective were accurate, no one would be able to advance in rank on the SEA server or any server with similar challenges. However, we know that players do improve and climb ranks across all servers. If you're not progressing over time, you are the common denominator in these situations, which suggests that the issue lies with you.
