No one wants to play for Iowas offense due to nepotism but because of no talent Brian can’t really do anything play call wise outside of very vanilla things. Brian should of sticked to coaching the offensive line (I think that’s what he coached before OC and we used to be known for that so he’s shown competency at that role) and Iowa should find someone at OC elsewhere. I don’t actually HATE Brian but I do not think he should of ever been offensive coordinator

All experts coach’s all Iowa fan including me:: played at Wisconsin, Wisconsin bred QB Pen State game result etc etc,,, Big turning point- Fick went for 7 instead of 3 in 4 th down at their 1 drive. They failed, took momentum out. Fick’ : Can not win game with field goal. This game had only 1 TD and bunch of short ones and safety. Brian out coached with RU RUN RUN. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
On that long pass play Wisconsin completed on their first possession the WR committed offensive PI twice. He pushed off two times. Wisconsin O-line got away with more blatant holding than I have ever seen in this game.
Yeah, the PI could have easily and justifiably been called. But, I prefer the games in which the refs let the receivers and defensive backs play a little. The refs were consistent, and so my complaint about the initial PI went away. The holding by WI was ridiculous. I'm processing their holding as a compliment, since a lot of their holding was "last resort" kind of stuff AFTER they were beaten. Hawks win in Madison!
it makes absolutely no sense that points scored by Iowa's special teams and defense count toward the offense for Brian Ferentz' and his threshold of averaging 25-ponts per game. The defense scores a touchdown, and the points are credited to Brian's offense? Only in Iowa.
Literally only in Iowa. As an Iowa fan I love this team so much stupidity and all. We are truly an enigma when it comes to college football. In a world full of explosive offenses Iowa desires to walk the other way and play the most defensive style possible holding on to any marginal lead they can get for dear life, and I respect them for it.
Updated Iowa PPG tracker: They are just south of 21 PPG. The saddest part is they may end the season with the most undeserved 11-1 record in all of college football. I personally can't wait for the them to herp derp their way into high profile bowl game and get slaughtered similar to the 2015 Rose Bowl.
