I Love your new way to start the Lessons with a playthrough. Shows very well how could you use dynamics to keep the song interessting for the audience, although the parts remain the same. Great Inspiration.
Hello JUstin, I was learning a song with you (not this one), and my wife has walked behind me and told me: You have known this guy for years. I thought it was a good time to thank you Thnak you mate, Good job
This is dead on...knew I was missing something and was watching the 2017 RRHOF induction version I could sort of tell Eddie was doing but Justin nails it! 35 years playing and always learning! Going to keep Justin's lessons on my radar! Pretty good vocals too!
Thank you Justin - been working on this 2 days now and just go through my first full play through from the quiet fingerstyle at the beginning all the way to the loud fast jam towards the end. What an incredibly fun song to play - that one brings the goose bumps for sure! As always fantastic job laying out the song and walking us through how to play. Will take a few more days of practice to work out the kinks but this has me on my way to playing one of my all time favorites. Cheers!
Jesus Justin another good lesson. This song suits your vocals. Man im still working on Basket Case...still watching it..Any chance on mentioning how to get specific tones for each song on each lesson that would help.
Greetings from Tasmania, a great lesson Justin. Not many can write a song this good ever, nevermind when they were in high school. Eddie V has a bit of songwriting talent !
Hey Justin! Just wondering if you're familiar at all with Townes Van Zandt. I would love to see a video where you break down one of his songs, I've been trying for months but I can't nail his style, his finger picking is a bit too complex for me to get by ear. Great songwriter and guitarist. "Live at the Old Quarter" has the best versions of a lot of his songs IMO cuz it's just him on a stage with a guitar.
Hey great lesson justin! For me personally I'm just trying to learn all of the Into The Wild songs, am currently working on Tuolumne which is a great little short song, and the fingerpicking pattern is quite useful for Dust In The Wind and Guaranteed (from the into the wild album). I'd love to learn hard sun. All of the into the wild songs have something else going on other than simple chords I think, Society has some fingerpicking guitar but I think it's two tracks (I managed to play a simple strumming version but I'm sure there's something else going on) Alive would be great, killer solo!! Yellow Ledbetter too, Off He Goes, so many great tunes
It was a pop hit, but man that chord progression wouldn't fit the model these days! It's far too good! Will be learning this one from you. I haven't had much RUclips watching time for a while, I've missed your videos man. 🙌
Hi Justin. I used to play (basic level) but really want to get back in to it. I just can’t seem to figure out “how to practice”? I pick up the guitar and noodle through a couple of the songs I knew bits of. I feel like I need more structure to my practice sessions. Any advise?

Thanks again Justin! I have been following you a long time already and I have only one song request: This Old Guitar by John Denver!
Thanks for ur support! I've added This Old Guitar on my request list. :)
didn't even watch it... just liked it.
Suggestion... from the same record ! How to play "immortality"
It was a pop hit, but man that chord progression wouldn't fit the model these days! It's far too good! Will be learning this one from you.
I haven't had much RUclips watching time for a while, I've missed your videos man. 🙌
Maybe some hendrix style? how about "Yellow Ledbetter"?
Good lesson. Played on a coil split on the humbucker?
How about Wash by Pearl Jam? It's on their Lost Dogs album
What is that guitar?! I didn’t see a link to info. Great job as always. Cheers!
It's from gray guitars in London.
Hey Justin could give Vs. some love? I'd love to learn Hold on or Animal. Also give us some Sound garden or Alice in chains, cheers
Alice in Chains and Soundgarden lessons on their way! Animal is a fabulous song as well. May be coming! Thanks
Glorified G!

@@JustinGuitarSongs maybe not.
Do you think this same version would work well on an acoustic (Or acoustic electric)?
I'm sure it will :)
@@JustinGuitarSongs confirmed, it does! Thanks for the lesson, appreciate the good work.
did u smoke a James Blunt to sound like that?
Good bah ma loover! Yaw beautiful, it's troo!
"I can't find the butter man..."
Thats cause “l got id”
Do you know the guitarist's name yet lol. Inside joke for those who watched the original video Justin did.
Justin why are you in a cave
Tremor Christ
This stressed me out. It's too difficult for where my skill is at. Finger picking for me is so hard, especially nailing down the plucking patterns.
It may be a bit tricky one. But you can work your way up there! ;) Cheers
I really hate this song. Always have. No explanation.
