first event i ever watched live
I was at a restaurant / bar and the place was crazy. Those 2 fights with Chael cemented Anderson’s greatness in MMA and I believe he was the greatest even above GSP. Even tho it’s close but Anderson challenged himself more than GSP throughout his career. Then the way Anderson fought was unparalleled. Just like UFC 117 nobody thought Anderson was gonna struggle and then to almost be for sure! he was beat, to pull off the submission in the last minutes was top 3 or top 5 moments of all time.

This fight is horribly promoted. Anderson is an icon and Spaten won’t let anyone watch, it’s advertised as his last fight but it’s not, the fact that it’s boxing is the cherry on top.

OMG you guys!!!!! That was the best mma/boxing video that I have ever seen!!! When I saw Chaels reaction to Anderson describing the damage from the 1st fight I exploded into tears....Im still crying and im a grown ass man. This is such a breath of fresh air with all the Conner and Tyson uncertainty is nice to have some entertainment we can count on. love you guys.

Tito and chuck put ufc on the map but for me nothing was crazier than chael vs Silva. It was their first fight that made me a fan of the sport. I just kept hearing how the champ got beat up the whole fight and somehow caught that submission very late in the fight. Silva was like a wizard

The 'last fight in Brazil' thing never made any sense. Even before Anderson confirmed it in this interview, it was pretty obvious that this was just an idea that the promoters came up with to promote the fight.
I feel like Anderson will fight again in Brazil at some point, likely when he's actually ready to have his final fight in Brazil (which will likely be his final fight full stop) and not just when some promoter offers him money to say it.
anderson is the greatest of all time. hands down. jon jones and DJ come in 2nd. its always been silva. That 1 fight with chael where it was so crazy chael actually was beating this unbeatable champion that no one believed would ever lose, and somehow silva pulls it out in the end and wins. it was one of the craziest robberies of a robbery ever. andersons closest fight back in his prime champion days. it was such a shame that chael didnt win and become champ, as he was clearly doing it, but it was unexpected and so surprising that anderson pulled it out of the fire and won once again.

Conor needs to reach out to Anderson he needs a mentor like that to help him get his mind right, if I was in his shoes I’d straight up move to Brazil and seek out Silva for mentor he needs that kind of energy in his life right now. The legendary jazz player Miles Davis once dropped out of music school to move to New York and seek out Charlie Parker to be his mentor the rest is history.
Why are they calling a boxing fight a trilogy? They fought in mma not boxing. That's like saying mike Tyson vs holyfield 3 but its golf. They are two completely different sports.
