I been playing that for so damn long man, the show doesn't do the game justice in my eyes
I love the sonic style showing Scott character how he is known for liking sonic the hedgehog along with the creator of course who also likes sonic.
i especially love the sonic reference on the sonic style box

even if ive never been a massive fan of the scott pilgrim game (its not really my type of game), i love the art, music, and vibe of it, and this just adds even more reasons to why i should love it.
if you like that stuff, you might love the animated show on netflix!

Bro it is such a good time to be a Scott Pilgrim fan, I just wish I got into it earlier :*( I've not read all the books, but tomorrow volume 5 and 6 are coming in my mail! I've watched the movie (a long ass time ago before I knew it was even based on a comic lol), anime, and played the game, so I am very excited.

I played it back on the PS3 and it was stupidly fun when you have 3 other friends in the room. Glad they rereleased it but sucks that the PC port was so terrible. Just to show you how bad it was the Steam page advertised the local co-op but the port has no controller support meaning local co-op is impossible with only the keyboard. I really regret selling my Switch so I could of played it there.
i dunno your console situation, but I think it's playable on PS4, 5, Xbox, etc!
@@danomak I know, I'm just stating the PC port was really terrible. I currently don't have any of those consoles.

@@bug2744 I already did that on my Steam Deck but I shouldn't have to do that for a game that's already on the system. I usually resort to emulation for games that aren't widely accessible and it's ridiculous to emulate a game I already purchased.

I have a theory of the game, maybe It could be canon in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (spoilers), if in the series they wanted to make a movie and a musical, why don't make a game. Like this game exist in Takes Off universe but just like we have it, like a Game.

I loved the anime but hated the movie because it made no sense why the exs were so obsessed with Scott dating Ramona, most of them have been split with her for years and they fight a random guy to the death over a dead relationship
have you read the graphic novels? the plot for them was the same as the movie, but the books at least have more time to poke fun at the situation 😂

@@danomak It came with the higher tier drop. It’s shaped like a suitcase and when you open it up the characters pop up and music plays in 8bit with these tiny lights as if you were watching them play live.

i’ve had the same experience. Some cards are shipped in the package next to the game, and others are inside

they released it on more modern consoles in 2020 to celebrate the game's 10 year anniversary! 😁

@danomak yeah, I looked it up. Broke my heart a little bit. Scott Pilgrim was my first favorite movie I felt strongly about and the new series I believe was fantastic. I wanna get the books really badly too, I hear they're phenomenal.
