Fun fact the Nintendo entertainment system technically is not Nintendo’s first ever video game console. In 1977 in Japan they released a console called the Color tv game 6 and I believe in and then the Color tv game 15 the same year. The Color tv game was discontinued in 1983 in favour of the famicom

@@lewisgrant7622 It was only released in Japan...it's a bit like with the Game Boy Light if you want to count it in (since it wasn't a big deal or released internationally)

To be honest, I'm still shocked how Wii U wasn't as popular as how Wii was.
Having an integrated tablet-like controller for a console like Wii U is insane, and something that could surpass PS4 and Xbox One's Population.

Great video! You forgot about Nintendo Switch Lite, DS, 3DS, GB, GBC and GBA.
The systems you just mentioned aren’t consoles lol. They are all handhelds which is why they weren’t included in the video. The Switch counts cause it’s a hybrid, but the switch lite is handheld only 😅

you forgot the famicom, the famicom av, the fds, the sfc satellite reciever, n64 dd, the game platinum, the wii family edition/wii mini, the wiiu standard edition, the switch lite, and all of the portable consoles...
It’s only the consoles and he switch lite is not a console because it lacks the playing on the tv so it is not a console just a handheld device but 5e switch is a console

@@WMB213 look at the gameplay shown on the CRT with the NES, SNES, and Gamecube, and then look at the gameplay on the CRT with the Wii and N64
Apparently, the NES, SNES, and GameCube gameplay parts were edited with clips from gameplay videos.
The n64 didnt have rgb video that why it look blury yeah there are mod to fix the problem like hdmi mod but its expensive and if you dont know how to mod it you gotta find some who can so its kinda expensive retron said theyll make a console that plays n64 games on hd but i dont what happened with that havent heard anything about it since or you can just buy a crt and the games will look better yeah there is retrotinks i used that buy some games the video will cut and fade to back then the video appear on the tv Again as for the wii i think the av output isnt as good as the game cube wii games looks better on the wiiu buy some games that use motion controls wont work great

famicom (the japanese nes) came out in 1983
The NES released two years earlier in Japan as the ‘Family Computer’ or ‘Famicom’

The normal switch can become a console and you can play on tv but for the lite version you can not play on tv making it not a console but a handheld device
